easy eye replacement
Bought this after photo-eyes stopped working because of lightning strike nearby. Perfect fit, easy to install and still working flawlessly after about 1 year.

Works great, easy to install
My garage door was acting funny - sometimes it would close, sometimes it would close partway but then go back up. The communication system said it was the sensor, but I kept realigning the sensor and that didn't work, so I decided to try and swap them out by ordering these. It worked great. My one complaint is it didn't come with any instructions. There are videos online but I had some questions that the videos didn't answer. So for any other non-handy types out there, here are the steps I took, in case it helps you:1. Unplug your garage door system2. Remove your existing sensors (just twist and pop them out) and cut the wires, giving yourself enough wire to work with3. Pull the wires apart like spaghetti strands so you have two wires, for both your old sensor wires (where you cut) and your new sensor wires4. Stick one wire from your old and new sensor into the 3M wire connector, so that your new sensor is acting as a connector to the old wire (e.g. wire "a" in old to wire "a" in new, etc). My wires were non-polarized, meaning there were no specific colored wires that needed to be matched up.5. I held the 3M wire connector upside down so that I would see each wire was firmly in place toward the back. Squeeze down with some pliers to secure the wires in place within the connector.5. Do that for all four wires and that's it! Simple.

Exact fit for my Linear model LD033
Very Inexpensive since it saved me a service call to have someone come out and fix it. No telling how much they would have charge to fix it. It replaces the original sensors exactly. Easy to align to the original bracket. One of the 4 wire connectors provided were either messed up or I messed it up. It could have been me since I have never seen or used that type of connector before. That connector did not give me a good connection but I made it work with a wire nut. Easy to install. Fast shipping. Fixed my garage door. Working good now.

Wow, Easier Than I thought, Solved My Problem
For the last 3 – 4 weeks my garage door has worked intermittently. At first, I assumed that the safety beam lights were not properly aligned and would attempt to adjust the beam. That seemed to work for awhile and then the door would not close with the remote.Since we park both cars in the garage, this was a huge inconvenience.I checked and double checked the beams. Both the red and green lights were on and there was no obstruction. I cleaned both lenses. The door would not close and was giving three flashes indicating the problem was with the safety beams.I ordered the Linear HAE00002 Safety Sensor kit and I was able to change the safety sensors in about 10 minutes or less. What a relief. The new sensors solved the problem. These are designed just like the original equipment. They are extremely easy to replace. I thought I would need to mount them in some special way. But you simply unsnap the old one and snap the new one in place. Splice the lead wires and clamp with a supplied coupling clamp. The most difficult part was stripping the wires and cutting the old wires. This is such a relief and it was far easier than I anticipated. If your garage door won’t close, you are getting three flash signals and you have made sure there are no obstructions, your sensors probably need to be changed. It is a snap to do. No special tools or skills required. Save yourself a ton of money and do it yourself.

Pretty easy to install, working ok
Pretty good product. Inexpensive and it replaces the original sensors exactly. Very easy to align, mostly because the original sensors were lined up properly. It's easy to replace because you don't have to screw the sensor to the bracket with a screw or wingnut, the sensor itself just clicks in (assuming it's the original bracket). The wire connectors are pretty nice, but one of the four was either messed up or I messed it up myself and the wires wouldn't fit in it properly. Three out of four were fine, although they were a little snug to fit the wires. However, I went and found a 2 port Ideal push-in wire connector (the red ones they sell at Home Depot) and that did the trick. In the connectors included with this product, you do not strip the wires because the connection is made when you crimp the connector. For the push-in connector I used on the fourth and final wire connection, you do have to strip it a little bit, it says on the package how much. But that works fine. Sensors seem to work great for now. If you discount the time where I had to find a new connector, I would have had this installed in 10-15 minutes. Easy peasey livin greasy. Great shipping, got it a day early. Hope they hold up.

Did the trick for a Linear LD050 garage door operator
I bought this kit to replace two beam units that quit working after about 2 inches of water from recent torrential rains flooded my garage floor and submerged the existing beam units. The original beam units had been mounted almost right on top of the floor, which I had never given any thought to until the flooding and after it was too late. I installed the replacement units about 5.5 inches from the floor. Also, I had never used a jelly crimp connector to connect wires together. I didn't have a clue how to use the four that were shipped with the units until I found an excellent YouTube video explaining how simple they are to employ Just do a YouTube search for "how to use telephone jelly crimp connectors". The video I watched was uploaded on 6 July 2014. The most important thing to remember when using the connectors is that it's not necessary to strip the wire insulation to expose wire. In fact, you shouldn't. The connectors will crimp through the insulation and make contact with the wire. I used ordinary pliers to crimp the connectors. Extremely simple and fast to do. Time will tell if these units last as long as the old ones did, which in my case was over 6 years before the flooding did them in.

Works as advertised
Disliked the little red wire connector plastic piece. I couldn't get my wire to stay put. I just twisted the wires together.I did like that these matched my exsisting bracket mount and function as it should. Not much to say here. Quality of product feel cheap but it works. 👍🏼
