Wonderful sound stage and imaging...great recording

A fine addition to the orginal one.
If you own the original one, Jazz at the Pawnshop, this is a nice addition. However if you only going to own one, I would suggest the Vol 1. This CD was the remaining tracks from the original concert that was never release. The sound is clean and it makes you believe that you are in the basement of a smokey bar, listening to it live.

If you like Jazz at the Pawn Shop, just listen to it again & save your money.
This album should have been named Jazz at the Pawn Stop side B cuts. Still a great example of amazing recording technique, but the music just doesn't jell. It sound a bit like after hours with the musicians not being very focused. There are a few good tunes, but I would rather just listen to the first album again.
