I have a Jack Russell Terrier. If you know anything about these dogs, they're filled with energy, and as such, I need to take him for 2-1 mile walks each day (not to mention tons of play time inside). In any case, I take the dog for 2-1 mile walks each day, and it's mostly on concrete or asphalt. This tends to wear the heals of some of the shoes I've worn out on the heals, usually in about 6 months or less. Often the core of the shoes are completely sound (the upper leather material, and even the front part of the soles of the shoes) are in decent condition, but the heals are worn out.I got Shoe Goo to repair this damage and it worked! This has saved me a lot of money because now instead of having to buy new shoes every few months all I have to do is build up the heals with Shoe Goo, and they're good until the rest of the shoes become deteriorated enough to have to get rid of them. I've used this product three times and it extended the life of the shoes by about another two years. I'm amazed at how well it holds up.

I used this on a pair of flats with a wedged sole. It does have a glossed finish until you wear them a bit and scrape the ground as you walk, naturally. It's a little smelly also, so let the shoes air quite a bit before wearing. This product requires a few days to "cure" as we'll.
