I bought this to replace a faulty switch, and it did exactly what I needed it to do. Installation was straightforward, and once wired up, everything functioned as expected. The fan timing features are a nice bonus if you actually want to dial in ventilation instead of just flipping it on and off. It feels solid and responsive, and I haven’t had any issues so far. If you’re swapping out a bad fan/light switch and want something a bit smarter without getting overly complicated, this is a good upgrade.

The timer is super handy for getting the fan to run after showers, and the wall control is intuitive. Works well with my existing setup. Only thing is the setup instructions could be clearer for non-electricians like me needed some help getting it wired right. Overall, solid product for the price if you need smart exhaust control - would recommend checking wiring requirements first.

I purchased 2 of these units, planning on replacing a broken one and adding a second to a 1/2 bath. both had a date code of 2006 on them. I replaced the broken switch in my bathroom and found that the new one was buzzing loudly when turned on. The second switch (thankfully) did not, and the first one was returned. From what I can tell this is due to a bad electrolytic capacitor in the switch. Need to find newer stock, these types on Capacitors do not have a shelf life as they dry out and then will buzz or "pop" and let out the "blue smoke". I gave this 3 stars, because the switches are great when they work. The broken one was replaced due to physical abuse (kids). Ideal for ensuring family members run the fam while showering. Just a high rate of failure out of the box due to stale stock.

This bathroom fan and light switch is decently easy to install and made a big difference in my bathroom. I love the timer settings – the fan can run a bit after the lights turn off, which keeps the air fresh. The switch works great with my LED lights and gives me good control.
