Ryobi ZRRTS10G 15 Amp 10 in. Table Saw with Steel Stand (Renewed)

First time I used this saw to cut some 1/2" soft birch boards, the motor actually caught fire -- flames came out of it! Didn't use it until just over three months after I bought it, so I'm outside the 60-day money-back guarantee for reconditioned items. Don't reckon I'll purchase reconditioned items anymore, leastwise not from this company.UPDATE:1st time I called Ryobi Customer Service (now THERE'S an oxymoron!), I was referred to a Ryobi Warranty Service shop for repairs. While the shop is some 50 miles from my residence, it's a lot closer than the next alternative. However, looking at the place and not being able to contact anyone there over a two-week period, the logical assumption would be that they are no longer open for business!2nd time I called Ryobi Customer service, the lady said the first person should have filed a safety report as the motor actually caught on fire. So she filed a safety report and told me I would hear from someone soon.3rd time I called Ryobi Customer Service, about a week or so later, I was told that yes, a safety report had been filed and yes, someone should have contacted me, and she would ask someone in the Safety Division to call me as soon as possible.Now, nearly two weeks later, I've done what I should have done in the first place and would have had I known 1) what a piece of junk this Ryobi saw is and 2) what a laugh Ryobi customer service is, and that is put it where it should be -- in the trash! If Ryobi was the only table saw available, I'd use a dull, rusty hand saw, no doubt with better results.

Ordered this for small use around the house. Great price. Product came with a damaged part. I figured with it being refurbished the seller couldn't help. I called and had a great experience with their customer service. Within 5 minutes she had promised a new part was on the way. 5 days later it was at my door. Good product for the price and fantastic customer service.

Base was busted when received so the leg supports wouldn't stabilize. Found out that you can get this exact model cheaper with a 3 year warranty & brand new.

Great for residential purpose. I had a circular saw and was installing laminate flooring, this table saw made the job much easier. Good tech support during the assembly process, not much to put together, but some of the pieces were not intuitive, but I called the customer support number at 7pm and the gentleman talked me right through my sticking point.Didn't give it five stars, but certainly for just over $100, this was a great investment for a one time installation DYI flooring project.

This was a super excellent deal!!! Exactly as advertised and all parts/accessories included!!! Small mars in plastic but very pleased with this product!! I highly recommend.

this is the prefect tool for a beginner, if you still need to buy the most expensive ? then buy it ,but this tool does the same job for less money. as a female i'm not intimidated to use this saw. this is my third factory-reconditioned item that i have order from amazon and haven't had a problem with them. don't think if you order one it wouldn't look new and you get the warranty for a year. love it !!!!!

With just a little bit of work they could have greatly increased the accuracy of this saw. Miter Fence and rip fence is very sloppy. That said what do you want for a $100+? Its a good little workhorse as long as being accurate to 1/8 or so will suffice. Very easy assembly.

It is great to get started with a basic table when like me , I would rather get good at using this then I can tell when I get ready to move up I'll know what features that are really important ....great product!
