Great quality and value
I keep buying Cable Matters cables over and over again. They're excellent quality for the price. The cables are nice and thick with solid connectors and you can tell they're quality build. They offer tons of lengths and they work for all my studio needs.

Nice, fat, 25' balanced cable, tangle-free, clean sound, high headroom.
The Cable Matters cable are great!I'm very impressed, happy with the purchase, see picture #1Heavier duty than of lot of cables I've bought over the years.XLR & 1/4" plug look of decent quality, and are well done. They unrolled flat, do NOT try to retain their wound up shape, and were easy to re-wrap!!I bought it on the advise of a reviewer who was using it with a Bose L1 Model II, as am I.In my case, running from a Bose T8S digital mixer's XLR Right (mono) output, into the L1 Model II line in.Prior to this cable, I was using a 50' mic cable with a "Line Transformer" to 1/4" male at the L1 end.The volume was much louder than my normal cable (1/4"TRS), and bordered on distortion. The 50' mic cable was also a nightmare to wrap and untangle later, a real hassle. With this 25' cable I can do typical short runs, or add a 20-25' heavy mic cable to do the longer runs.Very handy, multi-purpose.This cable is super clean and quiet, with the typical amount of volume I'm used to.I will probably buy another for when I'm running Bose L1 Compacts in stereo for the smaller gigs.I was so impressed with this cable, that I just bought Cable Matters (1/8 Inch) 3.5mm to XLR 6' Male-to-Male cable,to run from my Macbook, iPad, or iPhone into a summed single XLR channel on my mixer!See picture #2 for the 1/8" cable.Nice to be able to control volume from the Mac with a single rotary fader on the T8S.Cable Matters with be my new go-to.

Cable limitations
Works as intended. I've been using it to hook up mics to a guitar amp since I'm too poor to afford a PA system. The cable does make some weird noises similar to water sloshing around if you touch the cable. Which is to be expected since its not really a protected XLR cable.

Great customer service
I purchased this cable over a year ago, and it recently failed. I contacted customer support, and they promptly honored the warranty by sending me a replacement right away!

High quality for the price. Nice soldered connections.
I have a number of cables from Cable Matters and they've all been solid performers. The cable is heavy duty, but sufficiently flexible that it doesn't feel "stiff." Connectors appear high quality and well soldered. I'm not using for any critical recording, but they sound identical to more expensive XLR cables I have at home. I did take the connectors apart; was pleasantly surprised at the connections inside. Very happy with purchase.
