Based on the seminal horror novel by Stephen King, Pet Sematary follows Dr. Louis Creed (Jason Clarke), who, after relocating with his wife Rachel (Amy Seimetz) and their two young children from Boston to rural Maine, discovers a mysterious burial ground hidden deep in the woods near the family’s new home. When tragedy strikes, Louis turns to his unusual neighbor, Jud Crandall (John Lithgow), setting off a perilous chain reaction that unleashes an unfathomable evil with horrific consequences.

Good movie
Enjoyed the remake of the Stephen king novel movie adaptation. However it's nowhere near as good as the original movie that came out in the 80s.Hence the 4 stars.

Stephen King's best story.
This is (imo) Stephen King's best story and certainly his darkest, as he said himself. I rather this version better then the original 1989 movie, particularly the last part, which is really scary and all the cast plays a great part of making it feel real.If your a SK/ horror fan do watch this one, even if you've seen the 1989 version, oh and also read the book if you haven't already.5/5 highly recommended.

A "must watch" from a "must read"
Having read the book by Stephen King and really enjoying the story I was keen to see this film adaptation. I cannot compare this one to the original film as I haven't yet seen it. Overall, it was a good watch with some minor omissions (that you come to expect from book-to-film adaptations) but also a few creative twists in the narrative. As a horror fan it's not going to keep you on the edge of your seat or set your heart racing but it's a good watch whether you're an existing fan of the story or not. For those who like to read... I strongly recommend the book. As a side note for fellow rock music fans, Starcrawler provide an excellent cover of the Ramones Pet Sematary song during the closing credits.

Enjoy another King masterpiece
Not just creepy but the very message here is don't mess with things you don't understand. There are consequences to be paid for. The story line gives a harsh lesson that makes tale so readable and a pleasure to read. Another bonus film classics from King
