So this legit smells like hot asphalt. Buttttt it does exactly what I needed it to. I waited to write a review until I had used it for a week or two. My hair has been different since having kids. I dont know why and I dont know how. I had been trying dandruff shampoo and it never even made an impact. Then I got this like thick scaly section of scalp and my hair follicles hurt. I tried a clarifying shampoo that sort of maybe helped? Anyway, this stuff helped! Like I said, it smells like waiting for 15 minutes for some guy to change the sign to slow while they redo the roads. And anyone saying it doesn't is bonkers. Smell aside. First time I used it I freaked because when I rinsed it from my hair my hair felt like straw and I was like oh lord what did I do. But literally the second I put conditioner in it it was back to normal. I did spray some leave in conditioner in it too (mostly to combat the smell). So after my hair dried it looked and felt wonderful. The weird scaly part of my scalp is repairing itself and my hair follicles dont hurt. My scalp is not nearly as itchy as it was and I'm not seeing much if any flaking. It's a pretty large bottle and not a very thick shampoo.The takeaway:Yes, it smells, you'll smell it off and on all day.Yes, it works fantastically.Personally I'll live with the smell, I might even grow accustomed to it. It's worth it.

I've been using this product for two weeks now, and at two washes a week with this shampoo, it has done wonders for my scalp. While I have not been to the doctor to determine what was going on with my scalp to give you an official diagnosis, the dry, scaley patches that were itchy and embarrasing are now gone!At one point, before using this shampoo, the top right corner of my scalp was the worst part of my head, and I would continually scratch to the point of almost bleeding and pulling out hair, which was beginning to thin. As a female with long hair, this was extremely embarrassing. Again, this shampoo has cleared up the scaley patch, along with the rest of my head. My hair seems healthy and full again, even in the area that was thinning. It looks like there was never a problem to begin with! It feels like my hair has more body now that my scalp is clear of the scaley patches and dryness, and if I scratch now it's out of habit or testing the results - there's really not anything there to itch or scratch. The first wash I did notice a strong smell from the shampoo, which I expected from reading reviews, but now I don't mind it when mixed with my hair products. To me, having these results is worth getting used to the smell. My husband doesn't mind it either.I'm writing this review because it has seriously done wonders for an embarrassing skin condition that I'm sure others had noticed on me. My husband notices I'm not scratching the you-know-what out of my scalp and making it bleed, and says it looks much better. For the results, this is a small price to pay, and sure beats going to the doctor for answers. We will see what happens long term, but for now, I'm happy. If you're contemplating buying this product, and if your scalp condition sounds like mine, then let me assure you it's worth trying this product. Also, a little goes a long way - even with my long hair that is to the middle of my back, so I know this shampoo will last a long time. I hope you find this review helpful and honest!

T-gell is verry nice I have an issue with dandruff and this helps significantly I feel cleaner with out flakes falling from my head everything I move. It's smell isn't great and if that's a problem use 2 shampoos but other than that it works greatly and will help you with a dry scalp.

this is one of the best shampoos i have ever used for my scalp. my scalp used to be so god awful. there was huge flakes everywhere and id pick at them all the time whenever i was stressed which made it even worse. it was so embarrassing going out and having to wipe the flakes off my shoulders. it was so embarrassing having people point out the flakes in my hair. i honestly felt disgusting, but i tried out this product and before, i had previously tried nizoral. although nizoral helped me, it hadn't nearly helped me as much as this product has. this product flipped my life around and although i still have a few areas that are not completely cleared, i can confidently say that it has cleared up most of it and it is quite a holy grail. i feel so much better about myself, so much more confident. although the scent is a bit bad, its not intolerable and its not as bad as other drugstore shampoos i've tried. you can usually chase it away with your usual conditioner or even some hairspray. also the bottle is pretty good for the price and it has been about a month since i've had it but it's still going and it still has so much left. if you have as extreme flakes and scales as i had, please try out this product and give it some time. i hope it works for you as much as it has worked for me. best of luck.

I have been buying T-Gel for years because I have a little bit of psoriasis on the back of my head, so I needed it, but I was having a lot of trouble finding it in the stores around me where I would usually purchase it. So, of course, I turned to Amazon. I thought that it was a little bit more expensive than it would’ve been in the store but I didn’t pay that close of attention because I needed the product either way and I ordered it. Then it arrived, and it is massive! At least compared to what I would typically pick up off of the shelf. Which makes this actually so much cheaper than I would’ve paid in person and I am ecstatic. It is a really nice and effective product for things like psoriasis or buildup like dandruff. It works great! However, it does make my hair a little bit dry if I use it too much and the scent is kind of medicinal. But it is exactly what I have been using for many years and for good reason. It is a great product! And this is a great deal!

Había estado batallando algún tiempo con la caspa y no sabía cómo tratarla, así que en la búsqueda de un tratamiento me encontré con esta opción y decidí darle una oportunidad.Ha sido la mejor opción! Me encanta la sensación de limpieza que deja en el cabello, no me deja el cabello reseco o tieso cuando acabo de bañarme como algunos otros shampoos para la caspa. Eso sí, lo uso 2-3 veces por semanas como indica el envase y también 2 veces por semana aplicó una mascarilla para el cabello para mantenerlo suave.El olor es algo fuerte, pero a mí en lo personal no me molesta y hasta me gusta jaja si no te agrada el olor, creo que puedes usar una pequeña cantidad de otro shampoo para que se elimine el olor un poco.Me gustó el precio porque se me hizo económico a comparación de otros que son del mismo precio y contienen menos cantidad.

I used to use Polly Tar shampoo but now it is not available any more. I find this to be a bit on the expensive side to buy but on the up side, it is very thick and you only need to use a small amount of it to get the same lather results. So, all in all, a very good product to buy.

A mi hijo se le estaba cayendo el cabello y con este shampoo se le detuvo la caída .Excelente shampoo, de muy buen tamaño, este tipo de shampoo suelen contener muy poca cantidad, no es el caso

Dandruff prevention

Cumple con su función, excelente para la dermatitis seborreica grasa o seca y la psoriasis de piel cabelluda. Había intentado varios shampoos dermatológicos y no me hacían tan bien efecto a comparación de este desde la primera aplicación. Como ventaja es que su aplicación se limita a dos veces a la semana, a comparación de otros que requiere de uso diario las primeras semanas para hacer su efecto. En su contraparte, tiene de desventaja que huele fuerte y no agradable pero yo lo uso los días que se que estaré en casa y no me molesta el olor
