My Son uses both of the products sea salt spray and this together. He has the cut all the boys like right now longer on top and fade in back. This stays in all day and washes out after shampooing. He loves the smell too!

It smells like nothing its isn't strong and it isn't weak its just clean and simple.The price could be cheaper but if you have money than its no big deal.But the main thing is that it is easy to use but please (note) and keep this in mind.....You have to get to the center of the product the first few layers of the putty is ok but not as flexible its thick but over time after using it in your hair will tame your hair.On the top of my head my hair comes pass my nose.The back of my head my hair comes way pass my neck or hangs near the shoulders.Its easy to wash out but if you use heat it starts to harden like candle so rub it in throughly so your hair or your head depending on the length of your hair you make sure its not just setting in your hair or on your scalp otherwise the product is going to look all white and pasty in your hair and it will make you look half/@ssed so please realize that the product does most of the work you just have to rub it in all the way to make it stay if you need to flat iron your hair while this stuff is in it that works too but I let it air dry and let the hot sun straighten out my hair more and more as time goes on its a great product.

At first, I was annoyed with the higher base price compared to other men's hair products and having to pay the $5 for shipping when I could get other hair products with free Two-Day Prime shipping. However, the shipping was extremely quick, and the product itself is out of this world. I might sign up for the subscription plan to cut shipping costs in the future now that I know how good this stuff is.First off, the putty smells absolutely amazing. It's like a mix of some type of floral lavender and maybe some clean soap. It also has a very strong hold and very little shine. I haven't had any of the flaking problems that some others are talking about. I do recommend, though, taking the time to rub it in to your dry hands thoroughly and evenly before applying. The jar of product should also last me a long time because I find myself using very little product in each application because of how strong the hold is, while an application of the product does indeed hold hair for the whole day.In the future, I may check out Pete and Pedro's pomade because I think my current, subtle hairstyle actually is better complemented by shinier products, but it's easy to add shine, if desired, with the putty by adding some leftover hairspray, pomade, or gel into the mix. Anyway, definitely give this stuff a shot if you are looking for a great styling product with high hold and low shine for short to medium length and thick (or thinner) men's hair.EDIT 1/9/17: I have now tried P&P pomade too, and it's great, but the putty is really what I'm looking for for my current hairstyle. I just had an AMAZING hair day with the putty, and I can say it beats all the big competitors out there, namely American Crew Fiber. Aside from the amazing smell of the putty, it holds exactly how you leave it ALL day. It doesn't become slightly droopy and lose a bit of hold after a few hours like American Crew Fiber does. My hair also feels a bit healthier after using the putty versus when I used the fiber. DEFINITELY give this putty a shot.

I love this Brand, their regular putty is great but with age, when trying to spread throughout my hair, I tend to see hair on my comb. However, it works for my kind of hair which is wavy/curly.I decided to try the soft putty to see if it will work as it says that it has the same kind of hold as the regular putty. Well it doesn't, it was hard to style my hair with this putty and if I were able to style it, it didn't hold well at all.It did wash off very easy, has a nice light scent, but just didn't work for me as well as the regular putty. So if you have wavy thick curly hair, it may not work for you.

I'm really conflicted on this product, so let's start from the beginning...The gentlemen who owns this company is a famous youtuber who I enjoy watching and am subscribed to. After watching several videos espousing the quality of this product and seeing so many positive reviews, I decided to take a gamble and give the product a try.Typically I use hair products that you might find in your neighborhood grocery store, so I was excited to try a high end salon quality hair product which certainly comes with a high end salon price.I received the product and immediately washed my hair and opened the package to give my new product a try, only to find that the product was hard as a rock. I live in Ohio, so I assumed the firmness was just due to the package being outside in the 60 degree weather and brushed it off.The following morning I went to style my hair and AGAIN, even after sitting in my warm home for the evening the putty was as hard as a rock. I literally have to scrape it out of the tub with my finger nails, and eventually I resorted to keeping a spoon in my cabinet for the sole purpose of scraping the putty out of the container.The product smells nice and works well, but it is an absolute nightmare to get out of the tub and takes forever to emulsify in my hands. For $25 (incl shipping) I have pretty high expectations considering old spice putty for $6 a tub can get it correct.This experienced has soured me on the rest of his products lines because I simply can't trust the quality control that he has in place.I would not purchase it again, and I would not recommend it to a friend.
