My First Pictures of Jesus Hardcover – February 1, 2012

This is my second book by Maite Roche. I absolutely love the illustrations; they are perfect for teaching the faith to young children. I got this for Bible Time with my 2 & 1 year old daughters!

I love, love, love this book! It's just right for little ones and it's a great way to begin conversations about our faith. My toddler is fascinated by the page about Jesus's baptism because it involves someone dumping water on someone else's head--haha!

Since having purchased this for my one year old earlier this year, I have purchased several more copies of this book and others in the series for other babies. The illustrations are simple, yet catechetical, and the written content is perfect for a baby or child who is being read to. I have seen many books for babies on Jesus/Faith, and this is truly one of the best, but that's really no surprise, as it's put out by Magnificat/Ignatius.

Lovely, simple illustrations and brief text make this a perfect book for my 1 and 3 year olds!

This is one I like to keep in our bag for church for the 3 and 4 year old to look over. It is a simple set of images that let them think about Jesus and recall the stories they have heard before in Sunday school or at home. It is very comforting.

our 18 month-old grandson loves this little book. He's very fond, aso of its companion on Mary. In this one he's very animated about the loaves and fishes ~ just very sweet. I am thrilled that the art work in these books is beautiful and not cutesy!

Bought for 2 year old boy. He loves it, but so do my older girls (ages 4 & 6)
