Quality of finish: inside the rotor vents, on the rotor "hats," to prevent corrosion. Holes drilled for easy extraction.
There are so many rotors available for every vehicle, and they vary in price and quality. To the average "non-automotive person" it's downright confusing and overwhelming. Unless you understand what constitutes marginal, proper, or superior brake part construction, I think it's best for most persons to purchase O.E.M. brake parts and know you are buying parts approved for your vehicle. Think about it... Someone at Toyota or Dodge or G.M. works in the "Brake" department, and that's what he or she/they do for a living; day in and day out. He doesn't wiper blades or A/C, and that's what he knows. He gets paid to test thousands of combinations of brake parts, and the experience and understanding of countless combinations of rotors, pads, and calipers is in those people's heads. I trust O.E.M. parts. They are the safest best, but usually one of the more expensive options. You are paying for what that company knows about their vehicles and parts. The braking system on your vehicle is not the place to compromise your spending. Your brakes can literally, and often do make the difference between being involved in an accident and driving away. As little as a12 foot stopping distance can be a huge game changer. It can be the difference between you making a safe returning trip home, or a trip to the hospital, or worse. With all of that said, I believe these rotors have the comparable quality and safety which the O.E.M. rotors offer, for less money, while offering a few additional features, such as the "E" coating on the "brake hats" and the extra holes drilled to facilitate being able to press out the rotor if need be. The venting is nicely finished, as opposed to a less expensive rotor. (This is an area where typically a person not familiar with brake rotor construction would overlook.) So all in all, the rotors are nicely finished, and in my mind, they are equal to the O.E.M. parts for quality and safety, and they are substantially less expensive than the O.E.M. parts. Will they be durable? The Toyota O.E.M. brakes on a large portion of the trucks and SUV's in the early 2000 model years had issues. On the Tundra's, Toyota had a production run change to a larger brake caliper, as they did on other models of Toyota trucks and S.U.V.'s. Still, reports of brake rotor warpage are very common in these heavier model vehicles. These new Centric Premium rotors replaced warped O.E.M. Toyota rotors on my 2001 Tundra. And yes, I have the Toyota upgraded calipers on my truck, but the rotors still warped. And, rather than machine them, and give them another "go," I decided to purchase these Centric rotors, as I have them on my Mazda Miata, and they refuse to warp, no matter what I have put them through. I drive the Miata at autocross events, and the rotors are fine after four years of punishment, and these are the same Centric Premium rotors. All in all, for the money, the quality, and the careful inspection I have done comparing this rotor to O.E.M. rotors and higher priced rotors, this is a great choice. Let finish with this, I would put my sisters, or my mother in this truck, and feel totally confident they have above average brakes, and I don't have to worry about their safety.

VERY Pleased!
VERY Pleased!2000 Tundra, front end brake stutter started around 40K ago, only stopped once I replaced the rotors and pads (both) at the same time. Break in was easy, installation was straight forward though my OEM rotors had welded themselves into place from corrosion. Removal was difficult and required lots of coaxing with a hammer since the OEM rotors did not have "jack screw" holes. These do! So I expect that this is a commmon problem. No big deal, I was just confounded that all the videos and websites showing the R&R, showed the rotors as "floating" not pressed on, or a part of the wheel hub. Which is correct, they are floating. Just the lack of screw holes led me to believe otherwise.Once I got beyond that, R&R was a piece of cake. If you can change your own oil, you can do this job.Rotors are nice quality and right away I notice one thing, the lack of rust. I live just off the coast and in an environment where snow is common so, road salt. My old rotors would oxidize almost overnight to 1-2 days of sitting. I have seen none of that with these. The ad mentions an E-coating, I thought, yeah right, gimmick... But at this point I have to say it works.Other points from the ad:•Black E-coating for long lasting corrosion protection•Double Disc Ground for quieter and smoother stops•Machined finish for a cleaner looking part•Center Split core castings for proper heat transferI have to say that all of the above is "as advertised."Complaints? NONE!Shipping was fast and free. I would highly recommend these rotors if you are experiencing the dreaded "Break Stutter."Sincerely B.Caballero, Smyrna DE

Best replacement rotors for 2000 to 2006 Tundras
I had my independent Toyota mechanic install these rotors on my 2005 Access Cab and they went on like OE parts. These rotors are equal - if not superior - to the Toyota 43512-0C011 rotors, at about 75% the lowest internet price. Echoing other reviewers: excellent run-out and very good surface grind. Split core casting like the OE part for proper cooling. Includes the threaded "push-off" holes that OE rotors lack.I've also owned a 2004 Tundra Double Cab and the original rotors warped at 60k miles - likely because tire store monkeys over-torqued the lug nuts - and were replaced by solid Brembos. These Centrics have at least as high quality base castings and a better braking surface. After break-in, smooth, quiet stopping with both EBC and Toyota OE pads. These are the "go to" replacement rotors for 2000 to 2006 Tundras.

Good replacement rotors for 2003 Toyota Sequoia
I bought my Sequoia used and it was apparent that the rotors had never been replaced. There was slight vibration when applying the brakes, indicative of warped front rotors. I purchased these rotors and pads from Amazon for a DIY replacement.Pros:1) Black coated surfaces will help extend the lifespan of the rotors and slow the buildup of corrosion on the non-braking surfaces2) Braking power with Centric Posi-Quiet severe duty pads has been excellent so far3) Installation was easy (after difficult removal of old rotors)4) Great price compared to OEMCons:None so far

New Rotors
IF you have front end brake vibration and wobble at freeway speeds, this may not be the solution to all of your problems…. But you should look here first before committing to way more expensive issues. This smoothed out some of my braking issues, but not all. Rotor was packaged well and with no visible defects. Quick install with basic tools at home. Unknown if the E coating is anything special….

Morning rust?
I seem to get morning rust on this rotor than in my factory rotors so it squeals during reverse from driveway. After that, no more squeals until next day.
