I "gifted" myself the Palm Skull Shaver for Christmas, and it was just what I was looking for in a shaver. The Palm was easy to use. The quality of the shaver comes through whether I do a dry or wet cut. It is easy to maneuver over my head. The shaver cuts the hair without pinching or pulling, holds the clippings, and cleans easily using running water. It works just as advertised! I adapted a bald look during the coronavirus pandemic as it was easier than keeping a head of hair - and I always wanted to try it. I wasn't certain I would keep it, but I also didn't want to keep up hand-shaving while I decided - enter the Skull Shaver.This is really a sweet spot of scalp shavers. It definitely does the job, it's easy to clean, and it's low cost - while also having the specialized head and ergonomic design to make it easy to use. I was able to get to using it within minutes of getting it.This a good First Baldness razor, and may well be the one you need period. There are fancier and pricer ones, but this is a good deal.Only warning is if you aren't used to shaving your scalp, this may been an odd experience for people used to using non-electric razors. It takes awhile to find the best way to use it, adjust, etc. You'll also want to read the directions carefully and find the best products to use with it (for instance, never use scalp oil).A good purchase, period.

I waited for a few months to review. This shaver is excellent with some considerations. I went with the palm because I'm not big on celebrity branding and don't want some other dudes name on products I use regularly. It works great, battery life is great, it's a good close and if you take your time a smooth shave. That being said, the longer you wait to use it the worse it preforms. If used daily it's awesome in less than 2 minutes. If you wait to the fuzzy stage for me over two to three days you're gonna need 5-10 minutes or you're gonna be patchy. I use it dry then put a little water or aftershave then finish off for a smooth shave. KEEP IT CLEAN! After each use knock the stubble out of it and your next shave will have you thanking yourself. Kinda sucks around the ears like any shaver so check yourself.

Ordered it. . .came in. . .unboxed it. . .shaved my noggin.I had a set of cheap clippers but it took forever to cut and I never cut it even. After that failure I would look like a bum every two weeks hitting up my barber ( from when I had hair ) and the are no discounts for less hair my friends. . .not around here.Can't attest to the life of the battery but it did recharge quick and never missed a beat on the shave. If I use it for 2 months it pays for itself based on what I paid my barber and I can keep it tight wherever I go. I shaved dry and used moisturizer after. A little irritating but not painful. Next I will try the wet shave. Not " safety razor " clean but close enough that no one will notice. Pics speak for themselves . . .I did go back and get that lower neck. That was user error.This thing cleans up easy and the new R3 blade works great for my face and head. Best money I have spent this year, basically. Great deal so far.***update***March 2021. Purchased Aug 2019.Little guy finally gave out. Motor would turn on by itself so I had to leave it in my shop so the wife wouldn't throw it at me. Stored inside a moving blanket inside an ice chest so I wouldn't forget and scare the crap out of my kid ( or myself ). Plugged it in to clean up and she is toast. . . . .but let me be clear. I babies this thing for the first few months then I just left it in the shower. Wife and kid would knock it over. Broke a blade to pieces once it hit so hard. Threw it in bags when traveling. Chunked it in counter drawers when people would come stay and she kept on ticking. Got more than that 2 months out of it. Ordering another right now!

The shaver definitely works and it's pretty easy to use, too. I can probably shave my head in 5-10 minutes without any problems. For that I can give this product 5 stars. Easily.But cleaning it afterwards is a nightmare. What they show you in their ad about cleaning where it's supposed to be as easy as just dipping the razors portion of the shaver into the water and then just turning the motors on to self-clean couldn't be further from the truth. I'm literally spending more time on cleaning the thing than I do on actual shaving. And I still can't clean it good enough. So it's obvious that you basically need to repurchase the razors every 1-2 months if you want your shaver to be efficient. Now, when you look at the price of their replacement razors, this things gets pretty expensive really quick. For that and for the cleaning nightmare that it is I can't give this shaver more than 3 stars.P. S. Dealing with the company/seller is also not a positive experience. By chance, my first purchase of this shaver ended up being a used product, which I naturally wanted to return and get the actual brand new unit I ordered. I contacted the company/seller about it and they couldn't have been more disinterested to help me with my issue. Thankfully Amazon stepped in and immediately solved the problem. Just another thing to be aware of.
