The best $1500 I'll ever spend.
I'm a Crossfitter with admittedly less-than-perfect form and a body starting to feel its age, 36. No amount of pre or post workout stretching would make up for what I was putting my body through. I had a Classpass with a place that offered Normatec sessions and it looked like a cool recovery tool. The Normatec is a great quality machine and I was addicted immediately. Hips and arms felt so much better (I didn't try the legs at first). However, I wasn’t into spending $35/day to have access to one so I decided to buy—but not Normatec at $2500.I had the Air Relax. It was an incredible deal all in at $700. If you just want legs it is fine—and only $400. However, I am returning it. More than anything I needed the hips—air relax version is completely useless. Rapid Reboot nailed it. Arms are much better on the Rapid Reboot than Air Relax as well.The product itself is amazing quality compared to Air Relax. It is stronger, quieter, more adjustable. It actually looks really cool. It is expensive, worth the $800 more than Air Relax and I wouldn’t pay a penny more for Normatec.I'm not paid by the company. I am just so impressed with what they've created that I want to share how much better you can feel.

Compression = Comfort!
Let me start off by stating that I did not receive any incentive or product discount for writing or posting this review. I simply want to help promote a fantastic product and help anyone who, like me, has been trying to research and decide which product to invest in... because let's face it, this type of product is an investment. That being said, it's a sound investment because it's one you'll be making into yourself and feeling better!I am the average middle-aged person who works at a very sedentary job... so I push for a more active lifestyle by running and spinning and doing local races. But let's face it, any training comes with a physical price once we turn 40... and I am trying to fight that with every ounce of my being! I recently discovered this new trend of compression therapy in the world of rehab/recovery after attending the 2018 Boston Marathon Expo. I saw numerous vendors demoing their systems... including Rapid Reboot. About a week later, I got hurt during a training run and I decided I wanted to give one of them a try, so I headed to the internet to research the best one to buy.After careful consideration, I narrowed the field down to two top contenders... Rapid Reboot and NormaTec. Rapid Reboot won out based on a number of key things... 1.) They offered both a recovery pulse pattern program, AND a parastaltic program as well (NormaTec only as one program). 2.) Their system allowed you to isolate areas during the program rather than having to compress the entire body part (NormaTec does not). 3.) Their boots have dual zippers should you require a looser fit (NormaTec only has one fit). 4.) I could purchase a complete package with a travel gym bag. 5.) Their system is more cost effective, allowing me to purchase the full package (which I'm so happy I did).I used the system immediately after receiving it. I was so impressed with how everything was packaged and the quality of the product itself. Instructions are clear and easy and I was up and running with it in minutes. Being that my main motivation for the purchase was rehab, I was anxious to see how much this type of therapy would help me. I can honestly say that I am not easily impressed, but one week in and these things are blowing me away on a daily basis! I have been using both the arm (for a shoulder injury), and the boots (for a posterior tibial tendon injury) each night for 30 mins... wow... within 2 days I saw a dramatic reduction of pain. It's the end of the week now and I am walking around pain free! I know that everyone is different and will have a unique experience, but the one thing I can share is that these things definitely promote excellent blood flow... which is integral to any healing process. And I am feeling so much better since I started using these... No one is touching my Rapid Reboots, I love them!!!!I also want to take one more brief moment to say something about the company's customer service. One word... EXCELLENT. It's been a long time since I've worked with a company that is so superb in fact, and that speaks volumes when you are making a purchase like this. You want to know that you will be able to have support if you need help. I can attest that they are not only super fast to respond, but they are wonderfully nice, and seem to really care about their customers. I appreciate that!So, if you're on the fence about these... think about what is hurting you... then think about feeling better... and BUY THEM! You won't be sorry!

Worth the cost
I compared the cost of going to pay for use of this machine at a therapist's office vs owning my own. It will take 52 uses to break even. I've had it a month and I am 25% of the way there. Well made, performs well with many time/weight/program options, and versatile attachments. The carry cases and duffle (and t-shirt for registering my warranty) are just bonus. I feel like I recover in 1 one-hour session what would take 2-3 days to recover without this device. Also, customer service for this company is absolutely top notch. Recommend without hesitation.

Great system, great service, great price!
I've been using this system for several weeks now and wanted that much time to get a short-term and medium term point of view. I got this system after trying out the Normatec version at a retail location because I was impressed with the benefits and value that Rapid Reboot provides. I'm a cyclist and mainly use the leg and hip compression pieces after long rides. I like how easy this system is to use and how I can select certain sections to turn off as my knee sometimes acts up and doesn't like the compression. I'd recommend using a little under the mid setting at first until you get used to the system, and depending on whether you use mode A or B might have to adjust to your comfort level. I also got the arms due to problems with one of my shoulders getting tight being in a cycling position for hours and I'm still working out the right pressure to use since having it too high does more harm than good.The quality of the materials is comparable to the much more expensive Normatec. The zippers are heavy duty and I like that it has a couple settings on the legs for people with thicker legs. For me they tend to stick a little around the ankle, but never worried about the zipper failing.One word of advice though, be careful of the connectors! When I first got mine, switching attachments was very difficult due to the tight fit and rubber gasket. I actually broke one off into the head unit. This led me to contact Rapid Reboot and they were very quick to respond to my issue and provide a replacement connectors. They arrived very quickly and were very easy to replace so I'm quite happy with the level of support so far! They mentioned that using a little vaseline on the connector would help and I tried it and sure enough it was much much easier!Only nit I would have on the system would be that the only time I can turn on/off segments is before the program starts. There have been many times where my knee starts to bother me mid-cycle and I can't turn it off without terminating the entire program. Other than that, no complaints so far!
