Total garbage
Instructions insisted it was important to get the polarity right when installing the batteries but the hardware and the instructions both had no indication of what the correct polarity was. And I could not get the bottom lid back on after inserting the battery.There's no reliable way to turn on the temperature on the on-cup display; you kind of have to jostle the mug.Also, the software is hot garbage. All it does is give you a drinking history, which I don't even need or want. How about showing me, you know, the actual temperature of the drink? Would be nice to show that on my phone.I'm not going to use this and I regret this purchase.

May be a used item. Disappointed.
It’s a gift. But the box is dirty. The cup is dirty. Everything is loose and looks like this was an item someone tried and returned. Very Disappointing. May return soon

Nice gift, but don't buy it for yourself.
App doesn't work on Android. Screen is way too dark, and pretty much useless. Good plastic mug, but is it in any way smart or worth the money? NO.

Does What it Claims, Can be Better
Things I wish the new version of this gets:* The cup cover to lock, to avoid spilling drinks.* The screen be always-on, or atleast with a small touch unlock instead of having to life the cup for it to unlock the screen.* The app to have an option to do a notification when the drink reaches desired temperature. Quite useful if you like to drink tea when it cools down a bit (the reason I got the cup in the first place).

Accurate if needed
Bought this a gift for a friend of mine who has been trying to track his liquid intake. The temperature reading is surprisingly accurate and the liquid level is a good tool. He can now see how much he drinks in a day. The only complaint I have is the lid does not stay on, but I can live without the lid.

Wonderful purchase!!
Great product! Keeps accurate data Surprisingly. The temperature of the liquids can be a few degrees off, but overall the other Information on the screen are accurate. Great idea for a gift.
