Our furnace needed condensation pump and they wanted an arm and leg to buy through heating and cooling companies. Some people don't realize they can get these much, much cheaper online than through a HVAC company. They're easy to install too. Nothing complex. Still working well.

The Little Giant VCMA-15UL condensate pump on my furnace has run fine for 10 years, but this winter it began making sucking noise and not turning off after emptying the tank. I realized that I should have cleaned it sooner and being winter I did not want to take it apart in case I break something. I bought a replacement. It was quite easy to install after looking at some youtub videos. I just turned the thermostat down a few degrees and did the swap. The new pump ran fine and does the job. The old pump was full of sticky stringy slime. I cleaned the old pump and put in some bleach to let it soak for a while. It seems to be fine otherwise so soon I will put it back together and put it in the box the new one arrived in and have a spare. May need it at my grand daughters house as she has same pump on her furnace.
