Klipsch RF-7 II Floorstanding Speaker - Black (Each)

Long time Klipsch fan, first time RF-7 purchaser. I splurged and went with the big boys, and they are huge. I mean really huge and imposing. Woof, woof, woof! But they have that crystal clear Klipsch sound I'm used to. I lost my Synergy surround sound system to a house fire, so these were my front channel replacements. I'm still trying to get the wireless rear speaker transmitter I bought working.As far as these go, they are amazing. I did add a SW12 subwoofer, so my Yamaha amp had to be configured to "small" for the front pair, or it wouldn't send any signal to the subwoofer at all. Music, especially, is sweet. Watching my TiVo, along with the RC62 center channel speaker, is ideal.

Speakers are great. Delivery really sucked. The speakers were delivered via a fulled sized semi truck & trailer. Needless to say, it couldn't come down my street. I had to drive my truck (after unloading it) to meet the driver at another location and pick up the speakers. Packaging was beat up really bad and I was reluctant to sign for them. The driver refused to come to my house and help me unload the speakers, so I had to find help elsewhere. The speakers were not damaged and sound just as you would from Klipsch, great! Very disappointed with the delivery.

There is no other speaker such as this, with the incredible compression horn tweeter providing life like immersive sound making movies seem as good as an IMAX theater and music as good as a live concert. You can hear all of the fine instruments in an orchestra clearly and perfectly as if you are hearing them play live in concert. The bass is strong and powerful with the dual 10" woofers, pairing perfectly with the Klipsch RC-64 II center and the R-115SW subwoofers for well rounded bass. These speakers are perfect for a Dolby Atmos, DTS-X or Auro 3D setup, to make your home theater a movie theater!The looks of the copper spun woofers and grains of the wood work in black look great, further drawing attention to the impressive woofers.

Great speaker after break-in. Took a good month but now sounds better with each viewing (home theater). Replaces BA soundware very small speakers so much better as expected. Kinda harsh and hard out of the box but very pleased 4 weeks later. Big room friendly and nice and rich now. Very efficient but use 100 watt+ amp and they are fantastic post-breaking. Masterswitch.com review did not let us down. Wife friendly looks as well.

Love these speakers! But don’t live the fact that the price was reduced by $250 each two weeks after I purchased them.

I purchase these right when they were introduced. Full package with centers, and rear. Absolutely great speakers, huge, packaged well. But the Cherry veneer isn't. I purchased A grade speakers brand new.. First set the veneer was flawed in front. looked horrible. I emailed Klipsch the pics and they proceded to sent out another set. Had to take the day off due to the trucking company couldn't pinpoint delivery. Then they didn't show up. so took another day off, speakers showed up. Unpacked them, worse veneer. Emailed Klipsch. They sent out another set. Had to take another day off. Due to shipping company. But it was who Klipsch used to send them out. Speakers showed up after a couple weeks due to no stock. My son calls one of these spot due to the fact that one whole side looked like a Dalmatian puppy with all the dark spots. Still not happy with veneer. Didn't want to take any more days off so I gave up. It cost me 3.5 days of vacation from my job. Really love the speakers sound. Just not the cabinet. At this price range there shouldn't be a problem. But I transferred in my job so the new setup you cant really see the sides of the cabinets in my new house so I just accepted them. All of these speakers shipped directly from hope Arkansas. A stock. Brand new. Really a shame about the cabinets....... Klipsch kept exchanging them but I just couldn't keep taking time off. Almost just took a road trip to Hope but wife thought I was nuts..... And if Klipsch reads this I am registered under there forum under schutz2106

These arrived damaged. Returned them. Also, they’re not very efficient - they took a lot of power to push them. But once I pushed them they sounded good. Nice bass response and great imaging.

What I really like about the RF-7 II is the clear treble, the heavy and punchy bass, and above all else, the enormous sound stage and presence. The sound is very immersive and all encompassing.

Ich muß sagen das mich die Boxen begeistern!Ich habe die Boxen an einem Yamaha AX-900 Verstärker mit Yamaha DSP-800E für Kinosound angeschlossen!Zum Bass wurde ja schon alles gesagt und ich stimme da voll und ganz zu(HAMMER)!Die Stimmen muß ich sagen, sind meiner Meinung nach natürlich und klar, genauso wie die Instrumente!Es klang nichts künstlich, im Gegenteil, ich hatte das Gefühl vor der Bühne zu sitzen!Getestet habe ich mit einer bunten Mischung (Depeche Mode, Clutsch, Black Keys, Technotronic, AC/DC, und Motörhead)!Ich bin voll zufrieden und auch nach längerer Beschallung kann ich nichts negatives feststellen!Klare Kaufempfehlung!!!

Was diese Lautsprecher aus 200 Watt Verstärker Leistung herausholen ist der Wahnsinn!Das hätte ich nicht gedacht!Hatte bedenken dass man die 1000 Watt max Belastbarkeit braucht um ordentlich Leistung aus den Lautsprechern zu bekommen.Höhte gerne sehr laute Musik, aber die Klipsch sind schon fast zu laut!!!Dabei ist der Klang stets top egal bei welchem Pegel!Würde jedem diese Lautsprecher empfehlen der auf guten, bassbetonten Sound in Discolautstärke steht und keine empfindlichen Nachbarn hat!!
