This is a great kit that has pulled me thru some tough repairs on internal threads!There are way more inserts than I will ever use but it’s great knowing I am covered in the instance that I might need one for an emergency!I repaired a few threads in my motorcycle subframe that seem to always be a problem when threading in steel bolts into an aluminum frame! Worked great and saved me from a trip to the dealership for a more expensive repair. I have also used them to install handles on my tractor and made a cue ball shift knob for my car with the inserts. For anyone curious, pool balls need helical insert or the bolts will shatter the threads!Kit comes with the appropriately sized drill bit, helicoil specific Tap (this is not a regular thread sized tap), helicoil Installation tool, and helicoils in several sizes.I Highly suggest this kit to any mechanic or DIY person because sooner or later you will need it!

Great kit for repair of metric threads. Drill bits are decent quality as well as the taps. Comes with a good amount of inserts. The thread tools are made of metal not plastic!I'm very happy with this kit.

Great set!Fantastic pricing, had stripped out mounting hole on frame brace on my car. Used 1/2 inch tap and dye. Inserts worked well. Got entire set for price of 1 tap/ dye anywhere else.Delivery next day. Cars on the road again

Exhaust on the riding mower was coming off due to the threaded holes for it being stripped out. I didn’t want to tap the holes to a bigger size bolt, and I didn’t want to have to weld the exhaust to the mower. Just happened to stumble across this, read the good reviews, and decided to give it a try. Couldn’t be happier! They worked better than I could’ve hoped. Easy to use and it seems that they’ll be more durable than if I had tapped the holes bigger. Can’t go wrong with this kit.

This is a value priced thread insert kit. The box is a nice metal box. The plastic divider in the box, is sturdy and keeps everything tidy. The thread inserts and tools are of good quality. The taps are marked HSS. I used one size of the inserts. I have used multiple brands before. This seemed near as good as the far more expensive brand name kits. I am pleased with the purchase.

Fantastic! The carburetor bolt threads on my Honda HRX217 were messed up so the bolts wouldn't tighten causing the mower to run rough. This kit fixed the problem and mower runs fantastic again!
