OluKai ‘ohana

I ordered these while on vacation and they arrived in 2 days. I wanted to purchase at a store but my size was out of stock. I wear a size 8.5/9 in most shoes and the size 8s fit very well. I really appreciate the great arch support and the decent heel cup that reduces how much my feet pronate (heels turning inward). I was able to walk a considerable distance on a gravel trail down to a beach without discomfort.

I wear sandals about half the year. I have always bought Reef but was interested in improving fit and adding add'l arch support. I have wide feet. These fit spot on. What's more, the arch is perfectly positioned, remarkably comfortable, and it has maintained support after a month of continuous wear, including on a two week beach vacation. I am delighted. I will look for future Olukai sandals that are 1) true to size, 2) wide width and 3) standard to high arch support. Check the Olukai.com site for these fit details even if you purchase them from Amazon.

Update: The size I bought turned out perfect after a few hours. It loosened a bit. They’re true to size. The color has likewise grown on me. I’ve thus changed my rating 5 from 4 stars. ———————————————— My pair was delivered earlier than expected - so that’s good. I opened the box and discovered they sent me the wrong color. Not good. I don’t want to wait any longer by sending it back and waiting for a new pair. This color isn’t bad but it was not among any of my considerations. I tried them on, and I love the arch support and heel drop. Just what my podiatrist recommended. I wish they had half sizes so that I could have sized up a half size. But not a deal breaker. I still like how they fit with the full size 6.

These are the most supportive flip flops I have ever worn. Great arch support, they are made well and last a long time, they don’t fall apart. Worth the money, you won’t be disappointed. Great styles and colors.

I had plantar fasciitis . I couldn’t find any sandal that didn’t hurt my feet. This summer flip flop was the answer. My feet don’t hurt anymore! I’ve worn them everyday. They are well made with great Arch Support.

These are very comfortable

First you need to realize they do run a little big. I normally wear a 9.5-10 in running shoes and I wear a 9 in these. I have a high arch, but very little thickness to my foot. Most flip flop straps sit above my foot and my foot does not get held in place. These fit me perfectly. I doubt they would work for someone with a thick foot. They are well made and are great for wet environments like the pool. They dry quickly. Very happy with these and will likely get a second pair.

***Year two update!!*** These suckers hold up! Have to replace only because my 6 month old puppy chewed through the fabric connecting the sole to the strap. Let’s be clear; that’s the only thing he made it through in 2 hours! And he’s destroyed many wooden chairs, rubber dog toys, etc. in less time. This flippity flops for t stop! *** Held up, great quality! Purchased other Olukai slip-ons and they fell apart quickly. It was a bummer cuz I loved them. May try them again, but in the mean time these have been awesome.

There were no half sizes, so I had to go up to the next whole size. They were a poor fit. I also found them stiff, not flexible enough.
