So well written, obvious author knows the country well. While it has some of the typical suggestions for where to stay, she goes into great detail on the culture and things not to miss.

This book with packed with useful information and insider tips - definitely a must-have companion if you're planning a trip to the Bahamas. The Bahamas can be difficult to navigate, especially if you want to explore more of the out islands, and this book is an indispensable resource, making confusing inter-island travel far more accessible. The photos are great too.

Just recieved my copy and spent some time perusing. I can't wait to read the entire thing in more detail. The pictures are great. The maps are perfect. The writing is easy to read and very informative. There are a ton on details for each island; where to eat, what to do, beaches to visit, and how to get around. I really love the Essentials section in the back. It contains a ton of info you need but would most likely forget to ask before traveling. Now, I just need to figure out how to visit each island!

Absolutely an incredible tool for either a seasoned traveler or a casual daydreamer like myself. I can't wait to experience all this guide has to offer! It's wonderfuly written easy to follow and Invision yourself at these discriptive locations! I'd give you more stars if I could, thank you!

Mariah has taken great lengths to complete this guide! As a fellow author one sees the workmanship in creating a fabulous concise guide through our fabulous country. This lovely book steers you wherever you may wish to explore through the maze of our archipelago of 700 islands scattered over 100,000 square miles of pristine ocean. Mariah has researched all the special places, the restaurants, the history & factual information, the ways of "getting there" and fabulous things to do! A first for the Bahamas, well done and a 'must own guide'!

It is very apparent the author knows these islands! Sharing with us all the wonderful and specials places to discover.I loved the book and can't wait to return to the Bahamas, I only wish I had this guide when we visited Nassau in the1980's! She has offered so many intriguing places to visit and many sites to discover. Im looking forward to using itplanning our next adventure to the 700 islands, just waiting for us to explore.I would highly recommended this book to people looking for a unique experience of the Bahamas!
