but some times we questioned the routes (one in particular was terribly noisy and filled with big trucks)
We just returned from a bike tour of the Puget Sound. This book was helpful in some ways, but some times we questioned the routes (one in particular was terribly noisy and filled with big trucks).

Biking Puget Sound
This book is very helpful for all of us that cycle in the Puget Sound . The best book I have found that targets the areas that I ride in.

We had an amazing week thanks to this book
We used this book for a week-long cycling tour of the San Juans. Stayed in Anacortes and took the ferry to a different island every day. Didn't touch our car all week. Routes were accurate, and Thorness includes some history and points out things to notice and do along each route. We had an amazing week thanks to this book!

Wonderful book for Seattle cyclists
I love this book! The biking directions are so exact and accurate that it would be very hard to get lost on one of your rides. For example, I did the Kubota Gardens tour last weekend, and the Chief Sealth Trail directions were spot on. Moreover, it was such fun to explore completely new and delightful parts of town, including that bike tunnel that goes under Mount Baker. I never knew it was there, and what a miracle it is!
