I do NOT like "tight fitting" compression-style socks. But, with wood floors and a couple of flights of stairs to climb, I found my regular crew socks far too slippery if I was not wearing shoes. I purchased a pair of 5 star recommended non-slip socks that were excellently made but WAY TOO tight for my feet. I'm a 9-9-1/2 shoe size.I went back online and found THESE and purchased a six-pack. AMAZING. Comfortable. Loose enough for my needs and stay up (just slow the calf) without a problem.Here's the catch - the "padding" on the bottom of the socks to help avoid "slipping" are PERFECT for MY particular needs. To explain: there is enough "grip" with the supplied "padding" that I do not lose my footing or ever feel like I'm sliding into a fall - but some folks might need a more aggressive non-slip pad. That is what was on the socks I rejected for being far too tight around my feet, ankles and calf. During the week that I tried THOSE socks, I almost tripped because they gripped so firmly I lost my balance. NOT SO WITH THESE SOCKS. For MY needs, the grip is perfect. Now, you won't be able to do that Tom Cruise move of sliding across the floor with these socks, but there is enough "give" in them that you won't be "stuck" to the floor and then fall face forward because of it. As for the quality. - the best socks I've ever had around my feet. I alternate 3 pairs right now - ordered another six-pack for the future. At first, we washed in regular washing cycle with the rest of our clothes and then "air dried" them. Not anymore - into the washer and into the dryer (Normal setting) and the socks are holding up perfect. If you want a "snug" but NOT TIGHT fitting non-slip style sock, these might be the right answer for you.

Purchased these socks for my mother who is in a nursing facility. The size was great and she likes how they feel. She was beginning to have swelling in her feet, and these have helped to alleviate that issue.

Bought these for my ageing husband to sleep in during the cold months. He and I both feel safer when he ventures down the steep set of stairs to use the bathroom in the middle of the night. He's thrilled with them and says they are comfortable, warm, grippy, and easy to put on and take off.

My house has floors that are slippery when I wear my feet-warming socks. So these are better for safety. But1. The grippe sole does not extend to under the heel. That’s dangerous.2. As a woman, I bought the women’s size. I wear size 9 shoe. After washing, these were OK, but maybe getting a bigger size would have been better.

I bought the mens largest size in these sox because of my past experience with what people are saying are non binding and so on. I just received these sox today and put them on. My search was or loose fitting non binding sox I really wasn't interested in sox with grippers on the soles but didn't care as as the sox fit loose around the top and around my ankle and also weren't tight around my foot. I have to say the grippers are great (but they are brand new too) but your not going to slide any place with these socks A Plus or the grippers.I bought the Mens largest size and i wear a size 9 shoe. I bought these thinking because of my past experience with what the makers of socks say are non binding and loose fitting turn out to be comical. So i got the size in these and considering the size of the sock and the size my foot I am disapointed that they are not looser in the ankle and around the entire foot. They are a great sock though from what I already see just wish they fit a little bit looser and can only hope that they don't shrink after machine washing and drying.After wearing the socks all day they do leave an impression in your leg were the top of the sock is on the leg and a very noticeable impression I am beginning to believe no diabetic non-binding sock on the market will not leave a noticeable impression on your leg. There has to be something in the material of the sock that keeps them from just falling down your leg and off your feet.

Very good socks for the money. I bought these for my husband who does not like to wear slippers but needs something on his feet because he is diabetic and we have tile floors so these are a win for him. They keep him from slipping on the tile floors and he can wear them all day and his feet are comfortable in them. I wash them in cold water and I just hang them to dry (as I have done with his diabetic stockings) and they are in great shape. He really likes them!

Tried on one of these socks this morning. Even though I got the larger size (10-13, as I wear a women's 12W) it was way too small, too tight and not long enough. I have diabetic socks that fit great and are loose enough but don't have grippers on the bottom and others that are too tight. Wish I could remember which ones I like.Update: I returned the too small ones and ordered the largest size (13-15.) They are a smidge larger than the others I ordered but they are still way smaller and tighter than I expected. I wear support hose daily as my legs and feet are pretty swollen. I wear socks over the hose. These socks just barely come over my heel and are pretty tight on my feet, given how swollen they can get. They do not stretch very much at all.

Too long for me, not a “crew fit” and still too tight and “ small around the calf for me”, being a women! I bought the men’s thinking it would fit me better as a regular “crew sock”. The women’s size would not fit me at all! I tried one on pair and they just weren’t comfortable for me to wear. Having broken open the package and trying that one pair, I’m not sure I can return the other 3 pair for a pro-rated return price. So I need an answer re any return! If not returnable, I will donate the other 3 pair to my favorite organization and tell the reason to my other diabetic friends. They are good 👍socks but I was hoping they would be losser though I have swollen feet.

Horrible socks. They do not fit any person's foot. Waste of money. It will cost me more money to ship back. I think I will burn them. Never again. Shame on you for lying.
