I wanted to purchase a nice dual function canopy for my outings.For my first usage was to the beach. I wanted something to help cover use from the hot sun but large enough for the family to enjoy. Putting it together wasn't too hard. It was a little windy so having 2-3 people is a MUST, for time and stress minimization. We made sure to stake the sides down since it was a little windy, and it was working as you expect. The roof is a little thin, so blocking the sun was ok at best.For my 2nd usage was more of family outing at a park. This is where the canopy really shines. I had four people putting this together which cut the time down a lot. After it was completed, we each grabbed a corner and LIFTED it over the park table. This canopy fit it perfectly, covered us from the evening sun--and also provided a net to block insects from bugging us while we ate.Putting the canopy is not that hard. You just need to know a couple things, the thinner rods are for the roof and the thicker ones are for the LEGS. The rest is pretty obvious.The materials are pretty good. It's not the best, i wish it was maybe 25% thicker--but the weight savings is awesome. I do not mind that it doesn't have a bottom, i prefer it doesn't. If it did, it would get ripped after a few use. This way you can just provide your own tarp for the floor.

This was easy enough for one person to erect alone, has held up to moderate wind and rain just fine, and keeps the bugs out. Creates a nice, shady spot. It is a good, roomy size- big enough for a couple of people to sit around and visit without being crowded.

Returned after attempting to set up once. There is no structure to the unit, and relies on taut support lines to keep it erect. Collapsed immediately. Ours even had a defect in that one of the corner ties was not present (note this did not affect the integrity of the structure, but made the screen blow around).

Bottom doesn't touch/stay down. Lots of bugs get in.

Very flimsy. The poles blow easily with the light breeze. We ended up just placing the mesh over our table like a mosquito net.
