This is a rusty grill, edited after owning for 7 years
(My Original review, from 2014) The one star ratings for this product are absurd, they do not address the grill's performance. I bought this as part of building an outdoor kitchen. The installation instructions and accessories were good. The grill itself performs as advertised. (2018) So, looks like I called the one star rating absurd, my mistake. This is a rust bucket. I've replaced almost the entire grill piece by piece. Granted, it was covered under warranty, but I really hated having to spend so much time fixing an inferior product. Weber sent me replacement parts but did not offer to cover the labor necessary to make some fairly substantive repairs.I went to take out the infrared burner, the thing fell apart, screws that held the infrared burner to the body of the grill (which I was also replacing due to rust) disintegrated. One of the doors fell off because a welded on bracket holding the door in place rusted away. This is an ugly ugly expensive purchase.

nice
It's a good grill. It is really a rolling grill retrofitted to stay in one place. Retrofit is some stainless to hold the wheels and keep them from moving, and some other stainless trim. Grill bars are thick like other high end grills, and the sear zone in the middle (just an extra burner between the center 2 burners that only burns at high) does what it says. Pretty even heat, although the right side is hotter than the left (propane enters the right side, maybe that's why). When installing put the whole thing together first before you place your countertop. I ended up having to cut 1/2" around my countertop after it was in as the instructions said it wanted an overhang but doesn't state "except around the grill opening". You can't put your propane tank under it (not sure why they chose this design), instead behind the 2 doors is a ton of wasted space that mostly is just a structure to hold a big drip pan, which works well. Lots of stuff drips down there and away from the burners so not so much flare ups like my previous grills. You can also store the rotisserie and some Pam down there, but that's about it.

Stainless my ASSSSSSSSSS
Well the Front half of the grill top and the doors are stainless steel and look nice. All of the rest are aluminium or mild steel - painted. It's supposed to be an outdoor grill. Well - where I live - ( near the coast ) this thing won't last any time. - But they get you by adding a 20% re-stock fee plus shipping both ways - so its impractical to return it. I hope it cooks ok.

Classic Weber
Cons: plastic knobs are subject to breaking when burner does light on the first click/turn. Smoke rises directly in to my face when flipping burgers. Door magnets are iffy, and rain migrates in to the cabinet. Built-in model needs to come with optional tool hanger hardware for the premium price.

They sell you trash then keep your money
Don’t by from them!! Go anywhere else!! They are selling trash cans on wheels. Kinda sad the customer service sucks as much as the product they sell!! Go with a better company and save some money.
