Not a whole lot you can say about a cable. IT WORKS
The cable worked perfectly, installing its' Drivers, connecting the radio (Baofeng UV-5R 8w) to my computer (windows). I downloaded the CHIRP software and downloaded my radio menu, no problem. The file looks just like a spreadsheet file. I have not tried adding to the menu and uploading back to my radio yet, but based on the downloading experience I'm expecting no problems. I can't compare to other such cables but I believe it is worth the price to ensure functionality with my radio.

Works perfectly. No driver updates needed.
This cable works perfect. I use it on my Retevis radios with Windows 11 and USB C and it work without having to do any window driver updates. Just plug it in and it works. 100 percent recommend it.

Worked Great On A UV-28 Plus GPS
Seems well made. Device Manager showed the cord on comm port 7. I then used CHIRP and was able to program the UV-28PlusGPS using the UV-17proGPS radio as the UV-28 isn't listed in CHIRPI'm very happy with this cord as it simplified programming and works, which is where "other" cords when on Windows 11 fail to function.

Works great!
Had to install driver manually. Once installed worked perfectly with several different models of Boafeng radios.

Works great!
Original programming cable that came with radio never worked well. Sometimes it would only work unless pushed the connector into the radio with a lot of pressure and held it during programming. Eventually stopped working. The new cable worked fine right away!Note: for some reason the port number that my computer assigned to the new cable was different than the original cable. So if you are having trouble getting the computer to talk to the radio, check the Device Manager's Port settings (assuming you are running Windows) and see what port is assigned to the cable.

Worked Fine For My Wouxun KG-935G Plus
It worked fine for my Wouxun KG-935G Plus. Plugged it in, Windows 11 recognized it and then my radio loaded right up in CHIRP Next. Not sure about the overall quality and how long it will last, but it feels sturdy enough. The transfer lights are definitely a nice touch, allowing you to see when it is busy and when it isn't.It's worth the cost which isn't that much. Heck, look at what you may have spent on your radio and then consider this an inexpensive upgrade to your gear.I would recommend it.
