cheaper quality than I thought this would be. the seal sucks the hinge sucks the rope on it is dumb but kinda alright..... if you buy it you may see what I mean. is it water proof...... yes put it in a sink while banging it on the side pretty good to simulate rocks... with a waper inside.... for 2 mins stayed dry... so it works. thanks!! my 2 cent take if or leave it i dont really care unless you agree then we see eye to eye.

It keep money, credit cards and hotal key dry but the back clasp that holds the case together broke. It is a little fragile, but was not expensive at all. You get what you pay for....good for limited usage.

The clear one is great but the red one sticks. These are handy little things. I keep a pack of cigarettes and a lighter in them. Rain proof so that's handy when you leave them outside.

These containers claimed to be waterproof, but really are more water resistant. They are quite large if you only need the container to hold a couple of ID cards and a few dollars cash.

Complete waste of money. It's not even close to water proof. The handle doesn't stay closed and it just pops open all by itself. When it stays shut water still gets inside. I lost two packs of cigs, a phone, and a few lighters. not only doesn't it work it cost me money because my phone was damaged!!!! Some people also might say you get what you pay for. I got one of these from Coleman a few years back for 10 bucks it lasted years and never leaked. and I wouldn't say 3 bucks is much of a price difference.

The hinge is flimsy, and it is NOT waterproof! It would work to keep things dry in the rain, but it is not waterproof, and if you use it more than a couple of times, the hinge will likely break. Don't buy this - it is a real piece!

The water proof dry box is great for taking my grand child to the water park. Everything can go inside staying dry and safe. I like the durability for this product.

First one arrived broken, contacted customer service new one arrived quickly & in tact! It was exactly what I expected although I would prefer a slightly smaller version large enough to hold a key card for my next cruise, but the quality was good.
