Look more expensive then they are - very durable. They can be used for many dishes/occasions. Such good value for cost.

This salad server is very small. I ordered a different one (larger for salad). With that being said, I am really enjoying this little thing. It's perfect for the table to use on a platter when serving meat, pastries, etc. Don't get me wrong you can still serve salad with these, just a bit small. I had to ( vegetable oil) the nut that holds them together as they were very stiff. The finger and thumb slots are thin so it doesn't give you the comfort, but at any rate I absolutely love to use these, they look very nice with platters etc

I needed a pair of these for my tableware kit and wasn't finding anything locally. I even spent a day wandering through kitchen supply shops in Paris, not finding exactly what I wanted. I did find an expensive small pair of hinged tongs there, but opted to go with these instead. Perfect for my needs.

Despite being aware of the dimensions when ordering, when you have them in hand, they are actually rather small.They work well, but had they been 2 inches longer and the "tong" portion just a bit bigger they would have been better in my humble opinion.Sadly Norpro doesn't make anything bigger than these, I have quite a few of their products and love the quality.

I wanted small tongs for appetizers. I first purchased ones without the scissor action, those did not open large enough and were flimsy. So I came back to these here. These are the smallest I could find that looked delicate. They are a nice weight and open up for any width needed, such as sausage balls. Smooth open\close movement, no forcing after a few uses. I hand washed and dried. I find the holes for the fingers more square(ish) than rounded, so, to me, is less comfortable. I would have liked the tongs to be a bit shorter in length and a fanciful look, again my preference. All in all they did the job, my Christmas table looked good. I’m back to purchase one more, probably two!

I love these serving tongs! They were perfect today for serving egg muffins. I bought one for my lake place and just had to have one at home.

I love it for serving steamed asparagus. We used it for our Easter dinner. It looked nice and worked well!
