Astak Mole Wifi Built-in Microphone with Phone (Iphone,android) Remote Monitoring Support Home Monitoring Camera

I gave it one star because so far the product is almost worthless. I am hoping to up the rating if customer service helps me make the product do what it promises.-I was told by customer service:-it does not work on the Android app with Droid Razr Max.-full function only works with Internet Explorer-the camera does not have a built in speaker but requires external speakers if you want to be able to use it to talk to people-it no longer saves to you-tube as promised-the movie mode does not work-the manual night setting could not be set from my computer, which I wanted because the night setting created a reflection on the window my camera was pointed at making nothing viewable. Support was able to change the setting remotely, but when they got off the phone I could not get the camera to work at all.-Support said they will get back to me, if they do I will update this.6/27/13:They did not call back. I called back a couple days later and was told:-The product does not work well with a desktop computer but works well with a laptop (I am using a laptop)-Support cannot help me with saving the recording online as YouTube doesn't work anymore and only people in China who do not speak English know how to save on an FTP site-The support person I talked to twice was Ken and he asked to get off the phone with me because he had another customer. (Is he the only support they have?)-I submitted a question to the live support and got a message, " There are no operators available at the moment. If you would like to leave a message, please type it in the input field below and click "Send" button " I submitted my questions:The camera says it:-saves to youtube or ftp site-can be used as an intercom-works with an Android phoneDoes it do those things? If so, how?How do I change the microphone and speaker to on and have them stay that way?How do I get the video to work and see it in the home section?If I get answers, I will amend my review.

What I really don't like about modern ip cam is that all these newer ip cam require intermediate company servers to function. Once the manufacturing company goes out of business, all these ip camera becomes worthless junk. Mole cam however, is an old fashioned direct view ip camera. That means your browser communicates directly to mole cam and no intermediate company server is needed. That's pretty hard to find these days, but mole cam is exactly what you are looking for if you want a camera which will funcion for long time regardless of whether the manufacturer is still in business or not.

I find this product a little confusing to use. The directions for forgot password don't seem to work. WIreless is a misconception. You have to plug it in.

Product os no good program CD is corrupted.web sight is down and customer will not respond should can not believe Amazon is selling these still. They get 1 star for fast delivery
