I want to love it but I don’t. If my husband didn’t throw the box away I’d probably return it. The buttons are very hard to push. You really have to press the light button for a good 5+ to turn the projector on. I still haven’t figured out the power/music button, if I press and hold it won’t turn, if I press once it won’t turn on, so I just have to keep pressing it over and over until music starts to play. The volume for the music is quite loud while other songs are softer so when it rotates through the music all the sudden you are blown away from a certain song because it’s so loud in a dark quiet room. Definitely wouldn’t recommend having child sleep with just because of the sound issue going from loud/soft with each song. The position of the strap on the back of the unicorn is a funny location that makes hanging weird..you gotta hang it just right for the projection to hit where you want. I wouldn’t recommend to buy. Two stars because yes the unicorn itself is cute and the packaging was nice, just the purpose of the product is thumbs down.

I needed another white noise maker. This product is WAY TOO loud! Plus I haven’t figured out how to keep it on one sound. It plays it for awhile and then changes. I also didn’t pay attention that it doesn't have a infinite loop. That’s frustrating. I tried setting it to the cry detection setting and it just turns off the noise. So it’s not like I can set it to 30 minutes AND cry detection (or I can’t figure it out). It’s super soft and cute but overall I wasn’t that happy with the product.

My little girls nursery is going to be all unicorns, so I thought this would fit right in. I had high hopes. But it is not easy to use and is actually just annoying. I read the instructions and followed them, but it's all "hold this button for 2 seconds" then "press this button twice quickly to do this", etc. Its not intuitive, and even after I followed the instructions I couldn't get it to do what I wanted. The star lights are ok, the volume control is good, and there are several songs to choose from. Although the white noise option is a little jarring. But honestly I'm going to go back to the hippo light that my son used. Disappointed with this purchase, it'll likely just remain more of a stuffed animal on our shelf than anything.

It’s so cute! I have been looking for a baby noise machine for a long time and did a lot of research. This does the job and is cute on top of that. The cry activator doesn’t work sometimes, it’s not very sensitive. But I actually don’t plan on using that feature anyway. One thing that I would like to mention is that it doesn’t really have full instructions on how to use it. You have to press the on/off button two times briefly in order to turn off the sound completely. Pressing it just one time changes the type of sound but doesn’t turn it off. Also the volume button is not very convenient: there should be two separate buttons for lowering or increasing the volume. The way they did it here is you have to keep pressing the volume button to find the right volume and if you miss the lower volume you have to go through all the loud settings before you can go back to the lower ones. Make sure you set it up to the right sound and volume before actually using it at night when the baby is all nice and calm and ready for bed.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  Pros: it is rechargable, cute, soft, catches babies interest and attention, packaging is nice, choose to have just sounds or just lights or both, timer, cry sensor, Velcro loop, variety of sounds, choose to play one sound or loop through. Cons (-2 stars): loud, even on the lowest setting it is very loud and the volume changes in the middle of different songs. The lights don't change very smoothly either. The green and blue lights are rather bright compared to the red, so it doesn't have a very soothing effect - I think. It's expensive for it not doing that great of a job as soother. Bottom line: If your baby likes falling asleep to loud music/noise or doesn't mind it, it would make a nice gift. I went with a bear of a different brand that does not have the above mentioned cons. :)

Absolutely love it!!! Some people seem confused on the buttons at first which I was also once you hit the power button it will start to play music it has 10 different things that goes through if you want to change it hit the power button once and it changes to the next one the sound button is the one next to it it has four levels once it hits the highest level if you keep pushing it it will just turn the volume down. The light button is also separate button and then it has the cry sensor button. Once you hit the cry sensor none of the other buttons will work. So if you are trying to turn it off and can't figure out why it won't turn off try and hit the cry sensor. The cry sensor lights up behind it green when it is on although sometimes it's hard to see. My son loves it and I love it for him when he is in the pack and play and need something to distract him. If you are on the fence about it I highly recommend it. It has a USB charger which is amazing so you just charge it up and then take it with you

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  This calms my baby down for bedtime and she is very fussy but the rain noise and starts for her to look at she calms down! I like that you can change the noise/music and keep it on one noise since the songs sometimes wake her up. Any all buttons are easy to use/change. I also like the baby crying feature which turns on if baby is crying. Only thing i would change different is a longer timer and a different placement for strap. since the strap is on the back is kind of hard to position the toy so the stars will be on the ceiling so I just lay it down but that isn’t a big prroblem compared to all the other great features and the timer is only for 30 but since some babies it takes longer to settle and sleep. But overall i love it and its a cute unicorn!!!!

I purchased this for my toddler daughter and she loves it so much. The unicorn is seriously the cutest. The highest volume isn't terrible high which is a super plus. She loves the song choices and it's easy for her to change them when she wants to. The light brightness is also adjustable which is great for daytime vs nighttime usage. Also the cry detector is a really neat feature that would be useful for infants.
