This camera is really quite cool! I really can't believe how small it is. When I received the box, I was like ok, it is definitely going to be a small camera, but even then, I was still shocked with how tiny it was! What is more impressive is the picture quality that comes out of such a small device! I truly can't believe how well this works... I use multiple different sorts of cameras, I have a G7x, GoPro Hero and a DLSR. Those are all high end cameras, that obviously have incredible picture quality. This can't match their quality, so if you are thinking you are getting something like that out of a camera this small and this cheap, you'll be disappointed and your expectations aren't real for any camera this size, regardless of price... However, what you will get out of this is good enough 1080 image quality (pretty good in general) for a spy/security cam. The quality is really quite impressive for something this small. Keep your expectations real and you won't be disappointed by this camera! Honestly, even if they raised the price another $20, I still think this would be a bargain and would have still been happy with my purchase. One note to make is that it does not come with an SD card. So be sure to purchase one when you are purchasing this if you don't have one already. Other than that, this thing comes ready to use right out of the box!

Garbage. Absolute,complete and total 100% crap. Always remember, until LIPO, lithium POLYMER batteries are produced in tiny sizes, then size matters. Right now, like this 1"x1" square camera literally isn't even good enough to use as a paperweight! There is two things and only 2 things this chinese made piece of garbage is good for, one, using it as a deterrent and 'bluff' tool against potential thrives with an IQ just higher than your cat and below Forrest Gumpp's IQ. And 2, you can toss it in a hardwood floor for your cat to attack and knock it across the room and play with for about 8 minutes until even the cat doesn't have any use for it. It's BS that we are forced to leave a minimum of one star in order to even leave a review. I'm a retire nuclear, biological, chemical warfare specialist for the U.S. Army with specialized training in downwind predictions of nuclear fallout, my point is, I'm not an audio video expert but I'm also no dummy, if you buy this camera you will regret it after the 12 minutes of ACTUAL battery life goes dead because once it's used one to three times, the substance membranes within the battery that allow recharging to take place breaks down very fast due to the inevitablity of it's tiny size, the same thing happens to all rechargeable batteries from cell phones to rechargeable double A batteries, but sue to their larger sizes and thicker membranes withing the cell, it takes longer for it to break down. Sidenote: If you want to maximize battery life in any rechargeable batteries, treat them the way you would properly refill your gas tank, wait til close to empty, recharge it only when you plan to use it, because with every charge, a bit more if the battery life dies. When it's full, wether it states it's got overcharge protection or not, unplug it.

This works, but it’s hard to tell WHEN it’s working lol. Between the instructions being in broken English and only one mode indicator it takes some trial and error. I got it working though. Don’t ask me how because I really don’t know. It would probably be better if I didn’t have to keep moving it and resetting. Didn’t try the night vision.

Bought these for watching my craft fair booth. More an incentive to not steal that to actually catch a thief after the fact. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the images. I run at the 720 setting to maximize time on the memory card, but I really didn't notice much difference with the 10800 mode. Stick with the 720; it is just fine. Timestamping is a issue. The time is picked up from a text file on the memory card. You can enter the starting time in the file, and then to be accurate, start the recording at the exact time you specified. I use a timestamp of midnight and the desired date, which then gives me a timestamp of the number of ours and minutes since I started the camera. Then I write down the actual start time and I can always figure it out from there. Annoying thing is, the camera always returns the text file to its factory default setting (in 2017!) instead of saving the last time used. The video is recorded in multiple files, each one being roughly 5 minutes long. On a 32GB card at 720 resolution you'll get about 3.5 hours of continuous recording. This depends upon how much of the video changes as it records. The more of the video that is stationary (like a backdrop) the more data you'll record. This is because of data compression which is obviously in use. The audio quality is amazingly good for what has to be a pinhole mic. No, you are not going to record music quality, but it is very intelligible and sensitive. The tie clip mount works perfectly, and the optional gimbal mount is just OK. It doesn't have a good range of motion but let's look at the price for all of this, too! The unit will work on a power supply continuously. A fully charged battery has very limited life. However, when using the power supply while recording, the LEDs don't do exactly what the instruction manual says. I find it easier to start the unit into recording mode then attache the power connector. That way I know precisely what the unit is doing. Strangely, the blue LED is lit when recording is stopped, and off when recording is running. So with the LED off you can't positively tell if the device is off or is recording. I'd like to see that LED action reversed. With the buttons facing up the image will be right side up. So just remember that the top of the image is facing the device's buttons. I have had trouble getting it into motion detect recording, and even when it works it seems to always record anyway. I did get it starting and stopping once, and found out that the time stamp stops as well! So if you are motion detect recording you may as well turn off the time stamping because it is meaningless. (A a craft fair there is never a time when there isn't some motion, so this problem is not an issue for me.) Overall, it is a great little device for the $15 price; better than I expected. I have four of these running, which is a pain to transfer all the 32GB cards to my laptop, but that can't be helped and is not a fault of the product. I would have liked 64GB or 128GB capability, since I have to swap cards halfway through a craft fair day, though. Even with these issues I have to recommend this product for any simple security issues or just walking around your day and recording everything for your blog (really???).

The camera box I received is totally different than what’s on the picture! It was a cheap looking box. The other problem I found was the instructions, all in Chinese, however there was some English translation that didn’t make any sense. I guess someone used google translate and copy pasted the content...!

With its price tag looks expensive, but received it with disappointment. Had to guess what SD card would work. 8gb class 10 nope, 8gb class 4 yes, 16gb class 10 yes, 32 gb class 10 no. Why? I don't know. Then after browsing other cam, saw the same model for 60% less.
