Update: Upon using the proper 23awg cat6a/cat7 connector (ones with the loading bar) this works perfectly fine. Make sure you get the proper connectors for this! Getting a solid 10g link an a 200ft run Used with standard shielded connectors that have worked for other bulk cable in the past, but won't slide through the pass through connector. I'm sure it'd be fine for a patch panel or keystone, but not for my use case. Would return but already ran the cable.

Was very pleased with this cable. Granted, it's extremely thick, so make sure that's what you need for your application (outdoor, underground, attic, etc.). And, it's not patch cord, not intended to be bent a lot back and forth at sharp angles. But, for permanent ethernet wiring, this is great. Got a sustained transfer test of around 960 mbps on a gigabit LAN using my 10 year old Dell laptop (granted, with a Samsung 830 SSD)! Outstanding performance, which is the reason to buy more expensive cable.

I cut a 6 foot piece and crimped on rj45 cat 6 connectors, nice tight fit, installed on my starlink Wan to my router, router says it's now a 1Gbps connection, ran a speed test, much better thru put than with my old cable. Cable jacket has 75 degree C markings, looks durable. Time will tell once I install some outside on network security cameras.

I decided to rewire my entire office building, and during that process I placed many orders for ethernet cables from several different sellers on Amazon. This particular item (MICRO CONNECTORS Inc. Cat 6 Solid STP Outdoor 23AWG Bulk Ethernet Cable) stood out to me as being superior in quality to other brands of exterior rated cable I had purchased. The specs printed on the cable were exactly as described and more importantly the specs printed on the cable were exactly what the cable really was. Some of the cable I got from OTHER SELLERS on Amazon WAS VERY QUESTIONABLE (in my opinion at least) as to the accuracy of the item description in comparison to the actual product I received. I give two thumbs to the cat6 cable I got from MICRO CONNECTORS Inc.

This is my very first time using this cable and these connectors, the connectors I used were VCELINK Cat7 Cat6A RJ45 Pass Through Connectors which worked great, a normal cat 6 connector is not going to work as the wires in this cable are to thick. This cable can be used as patch cable very easily if you have the right connectors. I tested this patch cable shown in the picture just under 1000 MB at 973 on both directions.

Good value! Since it's outdoor rated the jacket is slightly thicker than plain old cat6. Easy to punch down and crimp

I attempted to make about 10 different Ethernet wires with shielded RJ-45 connectors. None of the wires worked. The sheathing on individual wires was too thick for crimper tool to pierce and removing sheathing via stripping or burning rendered 23awg too thin to stay in place in connectors. I may try run out to outbuilding and connect to female rj-45s but wish I could return for cat-5.

Gone through two rolls of this. Direct burial. Works well if wiring as T568B configuration. Used on 4k cameras and switches.

Cable has function within specs, product arrived on time, quality is exactly as expected.

El cable es realmente de cobre y parece de buena calidad, cosa que me ha sorprendido por el precio (75m por 21€ pero veo que ahora ya no está disponible y la versión de 150m cuesta 220€). La longitud está marcada cada 2 pies. No lo he instalado pero he puesto conectores en los dos extremos del cable y me da una conexión de 1 gigabit estable.

I've learnt a lot by trial and error buying different ethernet cables on Amazon. I'm slowly beginning to understand what I actually need. I've recently discovered the joys of being to terminate my own cables using RJ45 pass through connectors. Now I'm cabling up some PoE security cameras outdoors over some distance. Cat 6, 23AWG and Solid Copper are now all terms I understand are necessary when going for a reliable connection. This cable seems to be pretty high quality. It is Cat 6 F/UTP (foil wrapping inside the jacket, but not on the twisted pairs themselves), CMX so suitable for outdoor use (not sure about direct burial), has 23 AWG solid copper wires (1.2mm diameter including coating) so power transmission should be good, and incorporates a strengthening wire to allow for pulling. As the cable and the wires are larger than the fairly poor stuff I've been buying to date I struggled to get RJ45 pass through connectors that would fit. I can confirm that Kauden connectors seem to fit and offer a good crimp. Overall 5 stars as now I've started using this cable my previous choices seem a bit embarrassing.
