Plasti DipPerformix 11256 Turquoise/Silver Chameleon Metalizer - 11 oz.

This stuff looks awesome on the fairings of my motorcycle, but even after a good seven coats and ample drying time (48 hrs) it started to rub off a bit where it contacts my knees. Not sure if that's entirely the fault of the product or just me using it improperly. Definitely get this if you want a cheap way to get that custom colorshift paint look

I purchased this as the finish color for a modular motorcycle helmet. The helmet is matte black and at the time of purchase I liked the look of it. But, it is black and this is Florida and Spring is here and Summer is around the corner. Your noggin get's pretty hot in a black helmet in the Florida sun. So, I want to reflect sunlight off the helmet and so gun metal gray is the base color Plasti-Dip. After 30 minutes the Plasti-Dip base dries and then add the metalizer of your choice. I used the Plasti-Dip Chameleon Turquoise Silver metalizer as a finish coat. The Plasti-Dip metalizer also has a clear coat like finish to it so it does shin so if you want a matte finish don't use metalizer. I used Performix 11256 Turquoise/Silver Chameleon metalizer. the color shifts from turquoise to a purple / red / magenta hue. pix are of the finished chin guard and of the masked main helmet. The thing about plasti-Dip is if you don't like the results, peel it off.

i opened up my package to find the whole lid shattered in pieces. the only thing still in place was the inner cover. definetly need to handle their packages with care.

Wow, what a great product. Will be buying more. I took on an ambitious project of pimping my old vehicle I just got. Ultimately, living in North Maine we have hard winters with lots of salt etc on the roads. I chose the plastic dip spray to help protect my vehicle from the elements, perhaps give it some longevity, as well as deaden any noise when traveling down rough mountain roads. On a tight budget, this is what I came up with. I have a few more things to do to "Matilda" but for the purpose of this review this is great. I utilized, 4 cans of red, 4 cans of black over top with 3cans of silver turquoise chameleon. I took my time spraying in thin layers... I'm thrilled with the results so far!

Really easy to use, I justed watched the DYC videos for applying over emblems.6 to 7 coats of the black underneath and 4 coats of the chameleon over it.I did have a couple corners of 2 letters lift instead of breaking off but I just pressed it back down and it's fine.

I love this color selection by plastidip. I dipped all 4 of my wheels with black basecoat before using this chameleon. It comes out matte and depending on the angle and lighting, it can be purple or it can be turquoise!I used 2 cans of basecoat and 2 cans of chameleon for my wheels.

Two views of the same cup and color. This is two coats on top of a black plasti-dip base coat. The color pops over the black base color. The pictures represent the same color in sunlight but different angles. To me it looks more purple but still very beautiful.

Looks amazing once applied, but you must know what you're doing to avoid unsightly patterns, spots, etc.

I wanted my winter steels sprayed , so they would look pretty during the winter . The effect is very pretty , can’t wait till I change to my winters.

Bien pour faire des testes mais très fragile j'ai acheté du plasti dip caméléon afin de ne pas dépenser 55 € dans une bombe caméléon sachant que c'était pour faire des essais.Après avoir poncé dégraisser apprêter puis peint en 5 couches en laissant un temps de sèche j'ai fait mon hydro dipping puis vernis par-dessus en deux couches mais malgré cela un tout petit coup et le plasti DIP ce bar sachant que je l'ai fait sur ma manette de PS4 sinon jolie couleur est joli rendu peinture au top si elle n'est pas utilisé en extérieur je pense.

Produit arrivé vite et alléchant sur le papier, la couleur est visibible uniquement sur du noir et après au moins 4 ou 5 couches, pas très économiques donc, de plus le plasti dip se barre à la moindre petite touche. J repeins une jante, neuve, et un petit coup d'ongle et tt se barre en film plastique. Donc si vous aimé perdre votre temps, et votre argent, acheté ce spray.Je ne recommande pas du tout.

This is my first time using a colour changing spray paint and I’m beyond impressed. It turned up within 2 days, which was earlier than expected and after following the instructions on the can it was ready to use. I did a test spray on a spare guitar neck and there 2 things you need to know, 1 it works best over black (gloss or satin but I only had gloss to hand and that did the trick) 2 thin coats make the best results. The thin coats point maybe obvious to some but I must admit I noticed the colours changing at the heel of the test neck and sprayed a thick coat to less ideal results (a lot of runs once it had dried) my guitar will need another thin coat on the faces and sides and a couple at the bottom as it was difficult to do whilst it was hanging. The first photo is my test neck the other are the guitar this paint was bought for.
