Kids Maple Tree Tapping Kit - Taps & Tubes Kit - Fun and Educational Maple Sugaring Kit

We will be using this as part of our homeschooling when the sap starts running! My kids are excited. I will add a video once it's functional.

I've wanted to try this for a long time, and finally had some time to give it a go. I found this kit here on Amazon and it looked perfect, and it was! I was able to tap 3 trees with the kit, and that yielded about 20 fluid ounces of syrup (from about 6 gallons of sap). I tapped red maple trees, but you can tap any kind of maple tree, according to the very informative book that comes with it. This would be a great activity with kids (although, it's likely that you will do most of the work and they will enjoy seeing/participating in parts of it, particularly the end when you get to taste the syrup!). It's a simple and high quality kit for starters. Super happy with my purchase!

Not just for kids, Book full of good information. We thought of this a little late in the season so we didn’t get much sap, but still cooked it down. Not much syrup but a lot of fun. Will start earlier next year!

The grandkids opened the package, which was packed very well, and we drilled in the morning and in the afternoon we had around a half inch of sap in two separate gallon size jugs. We can't wait for the tablespoon of Maple Syrup we wind up with for our french toast on some morning in the future. LOL

Easy to use and the child's book was great. Would have given 5 stars if the instructions were a bit more detailed for the adult actually doing the tapping.

I have never tapped a tree before and I am still not how sure to do it or how or what to hook the tubes to to collect the sap. Product is good though.

So easy to do, I wish we had started tapping our trees years ago. Great book, and easy to use.
