As they say in the description, these are thin. I usually change them out during a workout once one is soaked (I usually go through 2 or 3 per hour, depending upon weather and intensity of my activities).But they are lovely because they fit under a hat easily. I have a large head and sometimes have to stretch them before putting them on. But these are the only sweatbands I’ve found that fit under a hat or helmet (while skating or cycling) for my big old head.I have used these for the past 4 years and they hold up well if you take care of them (wash them in laundry bags, don’t pack them in the same part of your hiking pack with rough materials, etc.) I will admit, however, that I often wring these out, which isn’t taking good care of them. But they’ve still held up.I don’t care about matching or looking good while exercising, so I wear whatever color I happen to grab first. That being said, since there is a variety of colors, it is easy to match them to your clothes.Like I mentioned before, I’ve had these for 4 years and they still work well. I even went swimming with one on (was kayaking, so I needed sweat out of my eyes, but forgot I had it on when I jumped into the river) and it still worked well. After ringing it out, I let it dry in the sun for a bit before putting it back on. It continued to keep sweat out of my eyes the rest of the trip.Overall, I’m satisfied with these sweatbands. I’m actually buying more because I’ve been giving them out to friends and family during activities and I don’t allow them to return the sweatbands to me because I think it’s disgusting to wear someone else’s sweatband, even if my friends and family don’t. Lol.

I love these little sweat bands. Yes, they are thin and probably not so great for heavy workouts. But I don't do that. I work in the yard, walk my dogs and live in Florida. I find these perfect for what I do and you can't beat them for cost...and they are very pretty!

3 Stars because colors are beautiful and match all of my TShirts, But they clearly are not for a "serious" work out.I'm keeping them since they are appropriately priced low for the poor quality; but for "real excercise/yard work sweating", I would have to wear 2 or 3 layered OR buy a thicker, higher quality sweat band.The colors would be good for a kid's sports or dance team.

Love the bright colors. They are thinner than my old ones but so far they seem to do the job of keeping sweat from running into my eyes just fine. I'm a competitive athlete and I use these under my helmet for cycling and speed skating. Time will tell if they hold up come summertime when I sweat a lot more. (If they fail I'll have to write another review). They get 4 stars as opposed to 5 cause the seams on them do have this annoying habit of sliding out of place. The seam on one of mine has slid down to the edge of the band instead of staying in the center. I haven't felt like moving it back into place and it's really not that big of deal so really it just depends on how picky you are with where you want that seam to be. I found that washing them inside a laundry bag seems to keep this from happening, so far...

I read the other reviews before buying these - But I'm not running into some of the challenges I heard others had.What I like: The colors are varied and offer lots of options (pre-selected assortment in the pack with no duplicates). Colors are bright and "cute", material is very soft, comfortable to wear, sized to fit without being too tight or falling off. I throw mine in the wash with towels, jeans, other tough stuff - figured they were cheap enough if they only lasted one or 2 washings it wasn't the end of the world... Surprise! They come out almost like new, no frayed edges, no seams coming undone - they didn't turn "inside out" as someone mentioned. I've machine washed & dried some over 10 times and I can't tell them from more I bought brand new.What I wish they'd change: The entire assortment comes in a large cello'd package. Each individual band is wrapped around a cut piece of heavy cardboard, and each one then wrapped and sealed inside a cellophane cover. It takes awhile to unwrap each individual package and you're left with a large pile of plastic and cardboard. These are cheap, I don't expect or think they need to be wrapped like precious silk.Overall a great bargain and they're lasting much longer than I thought. I bought more and will continue to look for this brand.

Bought these to keep sweat out of my eyes for hiking and biking. Since I wear a hat when I hike, and a helmet when I'm cycling, I wanted a sweatband that would fit underneath them and these do that. However, if you sweat a lot, like I do on hot days, they can't keep up and the sweat still runs into my eyes. Ouch!. Ok for light workouts, or light sweat if that is all you need. Quality of stitching isn't great. Out of the five I've opened, one of them wasn't completely stitched and had a hole in the seam. Have not inspected the entire set. I don't think these will last very long. Use the wash bag to protect them in the laundry. I have a small head, they don't stay in place very well if they aren't under a hat band or helmet. They tend to rise up on their own. If you need a serious sweatband, get something else. Colors are nice. These are a very thin stretch terry band.
