Found the idea of freezing plastic ice cubes in an earlier review and it is worth repeating. Add a little cold water around them.The hose that comes with the box can be stretched for a tight fit onto the middle top of the box. Keeping things as sealed as possible so that the moist air passes over the cold surface below and condenses out the water is important. We managed to 'screw' the other end of this hose onto the hose that already had a good seal from the tumble dryer.Yes, the lid is not easy to get on and off but this is part of how it needs to be to work. Look out for how it clips on , ease these out to take it off and empty the water after use.

Windows all still steam up a pest to get the lid off and on. I think I will just return it as it just doesnt do what it says it will do :(

Quite expensive for an empty box, it's ok and does work but certainly doesn't take away all of the damp air

Complete waste of money, hard to fix the top on and kept springing off, actually broke a nail trying, steamed the house up walls were soaking wet, don't waste your money! 👎🏻😠

But then any Landlord who blames Black mildew on walls and condensation on windows as being caused by our 3 tiny dogs and my daughter and myself by breathing, isn't going to like my great condenser because the man is stupid. I have used this marvelous condenser for 11years and only replaced it because the stretchy tube that attaches the condenser to my Tumble Drier broke due to age.So thank you so much . I hope we have a continued good relationship if I have to replace the stretchy tube again in another 11. Years

Works great with another box to alternate ice boxes & PPE (Personal protective Equiptment)I.e. arm sleeves, to stop condensation getting out & a hose from the smaller white condensation boxes! That's 3 condensation boxes to purchase but then you'll have spares!
