Was looking for a narrow nightlight for the bathroom since the medicine cabinet doors swing just in front of the outlet, so I can't use any lighted scented plug ins. The light is bright enough to illuminate the entire bathroom so it might be too bright for a bedroom, especially if I feel that the light on my digital clock is too bright. Also the blue hue keeps you from straining your eyes awake.

My previous ones burned out after several years. I use these in the bathroom for night use. They are bright enough that I can see without having to turn a light on but not so bright that I'm blinded.

Not dim as advertised.

Damn, these are bright. Put one in my bathroom and it’s bright enough to see (a lot like a bright moonlit night).They do a good job lighting an area up but may be a little too bright for a night light.

These little lights are great! They put out enough light to see well enough to go up/down stairs and along a hallway at night, but not so much that it keeps you awake like a regular ceiling light or wall sconce turned on can. Great for seeing that a door is closed before you walk into it and for keeping boogeymen from hiding in a little one’s bedroom. It’s also sealed up, so there’s nothing to stick out, break off or otherwise catch or become a hazard. Mine have listed several years of 24/7 use— well worth the cost.

Wanted a night light for a small bathroom, just a warm glow so I won't walk into the wall. This one is way too bright for my needs. You could read a newspaper in there. These are best if you need to add light to a large room or area.

Twenty or so years ago I bought several outlet covers that incorporated an electroluminescent panel. When I moved into this apartment I went looking, but they were basically not available. So I bought these instead. They do just as good a job, and give off about the same amount of light, but they do take up one outlet. When the lights are first turned off, they don't seem that bright, but once one's eyes become night adapted they put out enough light to make one's way safely, which is all one can ask for.PS: They work well in the bathroom as well.

Bought this gift the canon in the cruise ship. Works very well… provided enough light so that I didn’t have to cut a light on at night.
