Pleasantly Surprised
I’ve always been suspicious of refillable cartridge rollerball pens as an avid fountain pen user; however I saw videos that raved about this specific instrument and I am very impressed. Dare I say I almost prefer this as a daily writer. Schneider very much disproved the so-called inconsistency with cartridge style rollerballs, I give this an A+ all around. Very nice weight when posted; it is on the lighter side, however, as I mentioned when posted it compliments the textured ergonomic grip, which is also a great feature. It is on the larger side, however once again, the weight does not make it cumbersome. The cap snaps securely. Ink flows well and I’ve perhaps had only one false start; otherwise consistent flow. Very well engineered and top quality again from Schneider. Takes an international cartridge therefore colors are not difficult to find! I included a standard retractable gel pen for size reference. A great purchase and addition!

Great Cartridge Rollerball
Great pen, writes well with both the included blue ink and Pelikan 4001 Blue-Black ink. I love how it accepts ink cartridges, although only smaller ink converters can fit due to the slight taper in the cartridge storage preventing a large converter from fitting. Although, I removed a star because of what happened when I accidentally sat on it, as it broke at the base of the threading between the body and the grip, making it impossible to remove the converter I had installed which forced me to buy another one for my replacement (a Schneider Ceod). Oddly enough, none of the ink inside ever leaked, even when it was broken in half by accident, otherwise the notepad I had next to it would've been soaked in ink. Besides that, great pen if you wish to use fountain pen ink and want to use a rollerball while being fairly inexpensive and more readily available in the US than most other cartridge rollerballs.

Really good, smooth, skip free and uses standard cartridges
Cartridge rollers such as this pen use fountain pen style ink and this pen uses that ink in standard size ink cartridges. That makes it very cheap to use long term. It is quite a wet pen compared to some disposable liquid ink roller-ball pens so I doubt that it would work well for left handed folks but I like the extra smoothness that comes with that. The pen is quite broad and comfortable to hold but it is a lot lighter than most similar sized pens and I like that as well. You can use this pen with a standard sized international cartridge or with a short one. In the latter case, there is enough room in the body to hold a second spare cartridge so you can easily swap over if you run out halfway through the day. The only problem with that is that the spare cartridge will move about and you can feel that as you use the pen. If that troubles you then I would suggest the use of a small spring or a tiny ball of tissue to damp it out. Pilot and Stabilo make similar pens that are a slightly better writing experience but which are not quite as nice to hold. I would rate this pen as being on a par with inexpensive to moderately priced fountain pens. I use this as a day to day pen and will happily buy another in a few years time when the roller-ball mechanism is worn.

These pens do not write at all!
I rate this product zero stars. they both do not write - what a waste of money!

Clever Hybrid - Using Fountain Pen Ink in a Rollerball.
I have too many pens - always on the search for an all-purpose, grab-it-and-run thing. Like the smooth writing and ability to change up inks. One deficit for me at least, the line is too thin - they say 7mm, nah. And I like BOLD anyway. So it's another pen in reserve. It is clearly very comfortable in the handle and has a nice form factor. As for the paint scheme - leave the outer space theme at home. Something class is required - and a bolder point.

Meh
Does work well but definitely has some issues with consistent inkflow.

Works with my fountain pen ink
I've only had the pen for half a day, but so far I really like it. I have several fountain pens, but don't like to fly with them. I bought the mini monteverde converter for this rollerball and it works great. I'm currently using Noodler's Air Corp Blue-Black ink. It started out a little scratchy, but now it feels good. I've tested it with Mnemosyne, Leuchtturm, and regular copier paper. It works great on the good papers, and it's acceptable on the cheap stuff (the Noodler's ink is pretty wet and tends to bleed).

This refillable rollerball pen is perfect for me. I love the M nib and it writes really well; how I like it to be. Its also ergonomically designed so sits nice in the hand. I have now ordered another one as well as the fountain pen version too.
