Q: Will this product protect a hand painted panel that is being used in a quilt when the quilt is washed? Will the fabric still remain soft and pliable?

I used this on my couch and two easy chairs in my living room and they are just as soft as before they were sprayed. I noticed no difference at all. Of course they are upholstery fabric and not cotton.

Q: Is it effective when sprayed on an ironing board cover, then repeatedly ironed?

Don’t know bout the heat effects. Ironing board covers are in expensive anyway. Also, why would you want to waterproof? The steam would bead up and possible scorch as the hot iron went over it.

Q: We need this for the back side of curtains. How long will your product protect from uv rays?

I’ve had my couches sprayed for 2 years from bright sun coming thru skylights above them and have had no fading so far.
