Jensen CD750 Portable AM/FM Stereo CD Player with MP3 Encoder/Player (Black)

I've been looking for an easy to use CD player with MP3 capabilities for some time. I had a SONY CD player with FM/AM radio, but it was not worthy of the name. This little set is well-built, all controls and buttons work properly and the unit is easy to use. The instructions are well-written and cover all you need to know. The neat part of this unit is the MP3 encoder-you can rip your favorite songs from your old CDs to a USB drive. Sound quality is very good for the size. The FM/AM radio works quite well. If a unit such as this is on your wish list, buy this one.

I bought this specifically for the thumb drive option, so I could listen to my own music at work (I work in other peoples homes)First off the radio is flimsy. Very delicate, Not good for travel. (Even though I treated this thing like a new born baby) Never dropped it or banged it, It still broke.Second, The only way to randomize the MP3's is with the remote, Witch is also flimsy and delicate and only works if you point it at the radio from a few feet away. A random play button should be on the unit so you don't kneed the remote.Thirdly, The usb and card ports just stopped working after a few months.Fourthly, Who makes a radio with a knob to tune in stations these days? Why is half of this radio digital and half analog????I chucked it in the trash.. :(

Really annoyed that the remote doesn't work. Not sure if its remote or the unit itself. Was this a return? Other than that works fine and sounds great.

DO NOT BUY this product. Cheap crap. I bought this because I wanted a remote. The remote does not turn the radio on and off. I thought a remotes job was to turn something on and off so you need not to get up and turn it on. The sound is equivalent to a 1970's 9 Volt transistor am radio. I am a talk radio listener. I did not need great sound quality but this radio can't pass the talk radio test. This radio also picks up electronic house noise. I open the refrigerator and a get a loud buss because the led light in the frig goes on. Static buss is always noticeable. Moving the antenna and radio quiets it some but you can still hear it. I don't know if the cd works or Mp3 because I didn't try them. I really wanted this to be my next radio. My Sony radio got mad at me a decided to go to radio heaven after I did not turn it on for 30 days. (went to the cabin without it) My Sony worked for 10 years being used everyday 8 -12 hours/day . (tied to find the same radio but I could not)I thought the Jensen name meant something.

It's difficult to find a cd player that will play home made mp3 files, This one said it would and it does. No problems with it at all so far. For some reason these portable cd players seem to die fast, usually only the cd part, so I paid a little more this time and hope it will last longer. Its only been a month so I won't know if it was a good buy for another year.

I love this little radio. It's perfect for my bathroom. I would have given 5 stars except the remote does not work at all... :( this is the main reason for my purchase, radios with remotes are hard to find. I bought new batteries, don't know what the problem is, just can't get the little bugger to work. Has anyone else bought this item and had issue with the remote?

This little CD player has all that is needed for someone who fiddles around recording and playback of music from one form to another. I. E. Disc, including MP3 to USB and SD. Play from SD or USB, Send music to bigger amps and speakers. All activities straight forward and simple. Oh, and the radio picks up plenty of stations, these too can be directly recorded from. A very large supply of music to be had for a minimum of $$$ outlay, if you dig my meaning, ENJOY.

I needed a CD player that was also MP3 capable because I have a whole series of Bible Book expositional commentary sets that are in MP3. Since I found you have it, I bought four of them and gave them for gifts. They are wonderful. Who knew that 30 hours of commentary would fit on one disc? I am so thankful that you have them. I am quite disappointed as i wanted a radio/cd player with remote so i could control volume and change between cd and radio while i work. The remote doesnt control volume for radio, and you have to manually move a switch to change input between cd and radio. I should have bought the $30 one with no remote as its the same thing. Be sure you konw what you want before you waste your money like I did
