Once broken in, my kid loves the comfort and fit for gymnastics. They last around 3-4 months when used daily.

Recommended grips
There were the grips that were recommended by my daughter’s coach and they are holding up nicely. The finger holes seemed oddly small at first but they do wear out some to fit better once they’re being used.

Great Grips
My daughter was super excited to get her first pair of dowel grips. She's used palm grips initially and her coach suggested these grips. The narrow palm is good for transitioning because her hand can have more contact with the bar but will still have protection against rips.I measured from the base of her palm to the tip of her middle finger to determine the correct size. The Med fits her perfectly since she measured 6.5 inches.The grips needed to be broken in and the finger holes had to be adjusted. But that's typical with grips to get the right fit.She's very happy and couldn't wait to start using them!

VERY UNSAFE GRIPS!!!!! DO NOT BUY!!!!
DO NOT BUY THESE GRIPS! UNSAFE!!!! My daughter ordered 2 pairs of these grips on December 9, 2024. Started using them December 21, 2024. 1st pair already ripped on March 3, 2025 and completely ripped on March 5, 2025. Tool her 2nd pair out to use today and it was already slightly sliced on the back and could have torn if she used them on the bars. Very scary. Very unsafe.

Good, but break easily
My daughter has to have a new pair of grips for gymnastics about every 3 months, unfortunately this is the only brand that is comfortable to her. At times we MAY get 4 months out of a pair, but the general rule is every 3 the grips stop being "grippy" and we need to replace.

Good quality
They can last you a life time. My 5 repurchase because of sizing and I keep coming back to the same ones. No bar injuries because of the strong smooth leather. Never had a tear in the grips because they are so strong. Definitely worth the money.
