Q: How much does just the bottom weigh?

It’s a heavy bottom. Best kitchen utensil I have. I’m in love with it 😍

Q: Were the measurement guides inside the saucepot done by laser marking? Any colored coating (ie. black flax) leaks into food eventually--wears down.

The markings are black markings. I've used this pan for over a year and so far there are no signs of the markings disappearing.
