Honeywell Turboforce Fan, Ht-900, 11 inch

I rarely write reviews and almost never rate anything 5 stars. However, with the heat wave plaguing the northeast, I thought it’d be helpful to share my impressions of this fan. Bear in mind, I only received it yesterday. It has been 100 degrees F in New England the past few days. My husband and I are in our mid to late 60s, and we both have some health issues. We have window air conditioners, but we recently moved and have been having difficulty getting the units up a full flight of stairs in our townhouse. I decided we needed to add another fan to our collection as some of our others are still packed. I didn’t want to spend a lot of money since the fans still packed are of good quality and were expensive to purchase. Enter this little Honeywell fan. When I first opened the box, I confess to having been a little underwhelmed even though I reviewed all the specs prior to purchase. However, needs must, and I immediately unpacked the fan and set it up. It immediately started making a difference in our comfort. Important to note: it’s 10”, and that makes for a small fan. It’s completely plastic for those for whom it’d be a negative. The highest speed is more like a medium setting in a larger fan. However, because of its engineering, it works great when aimed at one’s body. I suppose it’d work to make a small room cooler, but, in my view, it’s best use is as a personal fan. It’s quiet even at the highest speed. I’m not experiencing any rattling either. For $17, it’s quite high quality and worth every penny.

Not even kidding — I’m writing this review right now while this fan is blowing directly at me, and I have to say: this might be my best purchase ever.I’m a student and I move around a lot, so I’ve learned to appreciate things that are compact, reliable, and actually useful — and this little fan checks all the boxes. It’s small enough to throw in a suitcase or shift around the apartment, but it packs way more power than I expected. The airflow is strong, even on the lowest setting, and it’s surprisingly quiet for how effective it is.It also tilts, which is super helpful whether I’m using it on a desk, shelf, or nightstand. I’ve used it while studying, sleeping, getting ready, and even just as white noise in the background — it’s genuinely become a staple in my daily routine.If you’re on a budget and need something that works without taking up a ton of space, this is 100% worth it. Not glamorous, but ridiculously dependable. I’ll probably end up buying a second one soon.

This is a great little fan and small enough to use almost anywhere. It’s powerful and quiet. The price is great.

Pros: super affordable, small yet powerful. I use this in my bedroom for the cooling & for white noise while sleeping. The noise level is average and on par with running a fan, so not a silent or low noise model.Cons: the tilt mechanism on this fan has never worked consistently. Most of the time, I have to place the fan against something to keep it tilted exactly how I want it.Overall, I hood fan for the price. The same make & mode is almost $20 at Walmart, so this is definitely a better price, if you have Prime.

This fan is perfect. Its quiet, nice air flow and it isn't too big. I set on 2 speed and there was a hum but I could sleep through it. I was also able to watch TV at normal volume with the fan on. I have it by the air register and it kept me cool and comfortable all night. Its easy to use, I see what some ppl mean about the hightest setting being first, but it doesn't bother me. I like that it is electric, I am older and don't want to keep on remembering to recharge something. I have enough charging my phone and computer.

This fan moves a lot of air for its size and is quite to use I use it when I'm riding my exercise bike and keeps me nice and cool. Just plug it in and go straight out of the box no assembly required. Small enough to put it on your desk.

Love this fan!! It pushes a lot of air...even on the lowest setting. Straightforward design, easy to use, very sturdy.

Very powerful fan. I love how small, but powerful it is. I bought two of them. I am very impressed with this fan. If you want a fan that really cools you off, then you need to get this fan. Even when I place it on low, it's still cooling. This fan is a great buy. Price is low considering how great this fan is. Thanks Honeywell, I am very pleased.
