Yes it’s study. I actually bought one and it didn’t work so I returned it and asked amazon to send me a new one. It came right away and I’m so happy the new one works. It’s smaller than I thought it would be. But works great and very simple to use. Thank you for sending me a better one!

I purchased 2 of these May 2019. After 60 days they both quit working. I figured they needed new batteries so I replaced them but that didn’t help. I poured the liquid soap out and cleaned them but that didn’t help either. I tried a different liquid soap and yet again that didn’t help. I cleaned them out, removed the batteries and decided to let them go unused for a while. After 4 months of sitting up, I tried using them again but nothing. This is U-N-B-E-L-I-E-V-A-B-L-E to pay $25 for each and neither work. Now they’re used as displays while we’re back to the old fashioned soap dish technique. I would love to get my money back or replacements that actually work. I should have researched or sought other options.

Worked literally one time. After that, pump just whirred, but didn’t dispense any soap. Replaced batteries - no go. Thought that perhaps our liquid soap was too thick, so I replaced it with just plain water to see if the unit was pumping anything. It did not.Disappointment.

My God !! I have been using battery operated sensor soap dispensers for years. But this is the worst one I have come across. It makes more sound than the work it does. When you reach for soap it will start making sounds as if it is drilling into the ground to get it. And then keep waiting until you get irritated and use a different dispenser. Ironically, this is the most expensive one that I have bought. I mean seriously? Why do you sell products that looks good but functions poorly ? I want to give a zero star to it. 😡😡🤬🤬

I really dislike writing bad reviews but was not satisfied with this purchase. After the fact I realized most of the good reviews were from the same accounts on the same day leading me to believe they are false reviews. I bought two and one of the dispensers did not work at all and the other only worked every 3-5 times I put my hand under it. I will say I appreciate the prompt refund upon returning both items which is why I gave two stars instead of one. I wish I had liked these items more but should have realized there is a reason many of the automatic dispensers are so expensive.

my simple human auto dispenser stopped working after several years of use, so i was in the market for a replacement. i ordered 2 of these based on the 4.5 stars customer rating, but without actually reading any of the reviews. after the lackluster experience with the product, i came back to the product page and found out that the 4.5 stars rating was relating to a completely different product. SCAM!

This soap dispenser broke after 2 months. Every time I used it at night I had to turn off the light in the bathroom because it would not dispense soap with the light on. There is little to no control on how much soap was dispensed. No matter how I pushed on the “volume control” buttons the amount of soap would never change. I avoided buying the Simple Human dispenser because of cost, but for twice the price my last Simple Human dispenser lasted almost 5 years. Boy what a mistake. The Simple Human dispenser did everything this dispenser would not do. Avoid this dispenser at ALL costs!

We loved this soap dispenser until, after only 2 months, it quit working. Turns out the soap was leaking from its reservoir down onto the motor and into the battery compartment. There is no way for me to fix this and I am unfortunately a month past the return date. I hope that this is an anomaly but will likely not find out as I will not pay for this product again.
