Small pian bench
I purchases the piano bench to go with our Suzuki keyboard. It looks great with it. It was very easy to assemble (just had to tighten 4 screws). It is comfortable to sit on but I wish it were a little longer. Unfortunately there is no storage place in the seat but it is made well and sturdy so I am pleased with my purchase.

It is well made.
My sister said it was well made. It is attractive and sturdy and comfortable. I'm glad I didn't just use a chair.

Solid Product
I've been using this bench for about a week now and overall I am happy with my purchase. The bench is sturdy, comfortable, and reasonably priced. I gave it four stars for three reasons: - The packaging had a warning that read "warning, this product contains a chemical known to the state of california to cause birth defects and other reproductive harm". I'm a guy so birth defects aren't an issue, but labels like this with no explanation from the manufacturer make me nervous. - One of the legs wobbled when I first put it together. The unthreaded part of the screw was too long, so I had to take a trip to the local hardware store to buy some washers that fixed the problem. - The seat is too sticky. I'm accustomed to being able to slide up and down the bench as I play, but I cannot do so with this leather seat. I probably could have foreseen this, but it is a pain nonetheless. If I were to buy another bench, I wouldn't buy this one. I'm rather short (5'7") so I cannot use the pedals on my piano with my heel on the floor, which is unfortunate. I also have come to realize that I need a seat with storage space and this bench has none. But these are personal issues, so I give the bench 4 stars nonetheless.

No Yamaha labels but def a solid bench.
Like others have said, it doesn't say anything Yamaha on the box other than BB1 so I freaked out at first. It is definitely a very sturdy bench though, solid AF and would recommend.

excellent for the price
I have two of these benches. The first I got with a Yamaha digital piano. Then I bought a second Yamaha digital piano so I needed another bench. This is one of the lowest priced benches but it's quite functional. And as far as putting it together, it's the easiest assembly of any product I've ever purchased. They even give you the little wrench to tighten the 4 nuts for the legs assembly. I didn't give it top marks for comfort and sturdiness but it certainly does the job and I sometimes play for 2 hours at a time.

Sturdy, comfortable, but not w/o problems
I purchased the Yamaha BB1 bench to use with my Yamaha DGX530 keyboard. While an OK value for a relatively low price, the Yamaha bench is solid but plain-looking. It has hollow metal legs, and thin padding with a soft vinyl covering that looks like it could tear or puncture easily, so maybe not a good choice if you have children that might climb on it. It came packaged in a plastic bag within a box, with no real protective padding of any kind, just a couple of pieces of foam to keep the legs from moving around and getting scratched. That didn't work! Before I opened the box I could hear the legs rattling around in there. When I opened it and looked it over I saw that the legs all had small scratches on them, and the vinyl top had a 1/2" cut in it. I find that baffling, because there was no damage at all to the box that I could see, and I did not use a blade to open it. Even if I had, the cut was off to the side and at an angle! Very strange! This would have had to be packaged this way, unless of course it was returned damaged and then resold. (I noticed another review where the reviewer found a tear also, but went ahead and taped it.) Bottom line, after using it for 2 days, I found it reasonably comfortable and sturdy, but a bit low for me. If you can get an undamaged one, it is a plain, sturdy bench for reasonable price and I think you will be happy with it. Rather than return it for a replacement, I decided to return it and try an adjustable bench. I purchased the Ebony Adjustable Artist Piano Bench through Amazon and CPS Imports. It was almost double the cost, but worth every penny and more. Read my review of that bench for more info. NOTE: I may have given the Yamaha bench 4 stars if I had not been able to compare it with the Ebony bench. I did not take the damage into consideration when deciding on the 3 star rating.

Ripped and Maybe not a Yamaha?
The bench arrived and already had a rip in one corner that looks almost exactly like one shown in another customer's review. That probably means there's a standard defect, design flaw, or manufacturing issue that hasn't been resolved. I also don't know if this is the Yamaha BB1 that I ordered because everything has a different company's name on it and doesn't have "BB1" anywhere. I get that a lot of brands use other companies for manufacturing, but most at least use their own branding and model information on the packaging. This should have been a cheaper price due to the above. At the end of the day it's a piano bench so it works, but if I knew I wasn't buying a "Yamaha" I would have just purchased a cheaper off-brand bench

aunque es estetico, el material es de muy baja calidad para el precio tan alto que fue comprado es muy frágil

Easy to assemble and sturdy enough for me. Yamaha is a brand you can trust.

The screws need to be tightened well and it would be nice if there was storage under the seat, but overall, attractive and comfortable and a nice height

It's a decent bench, however: - It's not actually a Yamaha branded bench. - legs are a little wobbly, even though I've tightened them down as much as I can.

Saw one leg had crack when open the box. And 4 legs didn’t match the base well. I returned.
