This tube is worth twice the price!
This is now the second summer we have had this tube. We live about 5 minutes from the Delaware River in PA and go tubing all of the time. We used it about 6 times last summer, and have already used about 3 times this summer. It is the ONLY tube we have ever had (and believe me, we have had a LOT) that hasn't had to have a leak repaired. It is super comfortable and fits both my husband and myself without deflating. My husband is 6'4" and is a BIG man. I am also 5'7" and am not a tiny woman either but this tube has held us up (along with one or both of our kids jumping and bouncing on it during our tubing adventures). Everytime we take it out I tell my husband it is the best $ 35.00 we ever spent. It is definitely worth a LOT more (considering some single tubes cost more than that). It is also super easy (and quick) to blow up. It blows up in less than a minute, including the two head rests and cooler (faster than some single tubes we have blown up). The attached cooler is also a great feature since it holds so much. When we don't use it as a "cooler", we use it for storage (i.e., our river shoes that we get tired of wearing during our run or my husband's T shirt, our sunglasses, etc.). If we want to take drinks, we will bring our own small cooler, store our "stuff" on the bottom and then put our cooler on the top. Sometimes even a small cooler can weigh a lot due to the ice, but the raft never gets "weighed down" from it. It is just a GREAT river raft. I can not say enough about the room, the quality, and the comfort. The reason I am writing this review now is that we love this raft so much that we just ordered another one for our two kids. P.S. The Delaware River can get very shallow in some areas in the summer time, so much so that in certain places you can't help but hit rocks. With that being said, this tube has never had a leak, and believe me, it has taken some abuse. You will NOT go wrong with this purchase!

Must buy!!! The cooler worked great and the part in the middle of the seats also held a cooler. I’m buying more

Great for Tubin' the Hooch
We use it to tube down the Chattahoochee River in Atlanta. The double tube is great for my wife and I, and the little cooler is the right size for a small group on a short float (2-3hrs). The fabric is substantial and has held up just fine over 3 years of use on a very shoaly river. It runs on several rocks and we've had no leaks. The cooler isn't going to keep stuff supper cold all day, but you're sitting in cold water and the ice will last long enough to keep everything really cold for at least half a day. The top doesn't really close, so if you flip you'll lose your stuff. But I've seen some newer models, and it looks like that may have changed. Just don't flip. They mighty stable so you'd have to be doing upwards of Class III whitewater (which I don't recommend) to flip.

Takes tubing to a new level!
I love not having to worry about anyone else when I go tubing. I have my beverages - they have theirs.Cons: Mesh/plastic bottom ripped on one side during the first use. Not a huge deal, but something to mention. Cooler part is hard to keep inflated as you insert the stopper. Very large/a little heavy. Box was damaged when received, but product was fine. My friend purchased the single Intex River Run tube and it popped about 30 minutes into our trip on a rock. They feel pretty sturdy and thick, so I think that was just unlucky.Pros: Huge and comfortable. Holds a good amount of cans - I would say 24 with ice with the potential for more with less ice. I like having the mesh bottom so you can keep other things with you in the tube. Blows up very quickly with an inflatable pump, also deflates very easily because of the large air output hole.

White/Gray version is just bad.
Really Really Really disappointed! Both of my grown children have the River run II. However, it is the All white and blue version. They purchased around a year ago. I received the newer gray/white blue (pictured) version for a rafting outing with family. Three days after receiving it, I took it to the river. I used a Coleman 12v air mattress air pump to inflate the raft. I also inflated 2 other River run II rafts. All of them inflated to the same capacity.Less than 20 minutes later, my raft was in a flaccid pile of useless PVC on the ground. We hadn't even made it to the water. The seam in the front had separated and left an 18 inch wide hole. There were no rips or sign of distress, the seam simply did not hold. And not even a small section. No one sat on or put any pressure on the raft prior to inflation. This is just really really bad manufacturing. I saw other people at the with River Run rafts. Many of the single versions. BUT they were the type with the all white top with blue letters. NO gray on the raft. Mine was the only worthless pile of crap on the ground.I am not upset that I bought it and now have to ship it back. I am not upset that I received a defective unit. These things happen. I am EXTREMELY upset that we could not participate in the raft event with my kids and friends. Everyone standing around looking at us saying we're sorry... I simply told everyone else to go ahead and have a great day. I actually would like the folks at INTEX to apologize to me. Because this seems to be a VERY common failure with this version of the River Run II.I am not saying this is crap and don't buy. I know of others who have the River Run II and they work great. I will say to stay away from the White&Gray versions. These are just poorly manufactured. If this had failed on the river in this way, I would probably be filing lawsuits rather than simply expressing my dissatisfaction with this product.Update.....I began to feel this is a dangerous product due to the reported total structural failure of this product for many amazon users and myself. And failure for the one purpose of this product, a flotation device. I decided to go the INTEX Site and express my concerns regarding the product. they have a "Contact me" section with many options including "I have comments and concerns regarding a product I recently purchased". You can go through and fill out the infomation and at the bottom of the page, there are two buttons: "Finish and Submit" and "Cancel/Reset". Well, the Finish and Submit button is not active and will not let you click on it. Even with everything filled out. Even after you create an account with them and log in. It appears that they do not care about what you have to say about their products. So I will recant my previous annotation about they have some good products. I do not recommend purchasing any products from this company. You do not want your family, friends, or especially your children in these products!!!!!!!!
