Acorn Bee Frame White Plastic Heavy Wax Coated Medium Size 6" Foundation 10 Pack

Took them straight from the box to the super. The bees took to them immediately and were drawing out wax when I checked again in a couple days. Four weeks later we were slinging capped honey. What more could you ask for.

I have deep and medium heavy waxed Acorn frames in use in my apiary.They are solid, don't flex, don't sag and with the heavy dipped wax coating, definitely get drawn out before others from Pierco or Mann Lake.If you need something food grade, that your swarm capture, or package install will take to and draw out fast, this is definitely a shortcut and won't let you or your bees down.I alternate these between wooden frames so the bees will draw out the comb on wooden frames nice and straight and it works like a dream.I recommend these to all of my beekeeping friends without hesitation! BUT, I prefer the black over white. The bees don't seem to care what color they are, but if you're trying to spot new eggs, black is the way to go in my opinion.

3/4 quarters of the way through the nectar flow and I put these on a hive while I extracted the full ones. The bees quickly worked these and drew new comb. No funky comb building either. They do come heavily waxed as advertised. I will be buying more of these next year!

I have not any luck getting the bees to build on the this frame, its been two months . i ended up replaacing half the frames with wooden ones with black frames and get better luck. Even though it is built sturdily ,my bees do not like it

They feel very sturdy and strong!
