You do not need to RAID them (software or VROC) to be able to use four M.2 drives. Your system does need to support PCIe bifurcation so that the x16 slot can be broken down into four x4 capable interfaces though.

Will this work on the x399 roc zenith extreme board?

Your motherboard BIOS must support bifurcation of PCIe lanes. This is often named differently from brand to brand. The manual of Asus X399 ROG Zenith Extreme shows that 2 of the PCIe x16 slots can support bifurcation to 4x/4x/4x/4x. It seems that the feature is called [PCIe RAID mode] under "PCIEX16_1 Bandwith" option or "PCIEX16_3 Bandwith". So you must connect the Asus Hyper M.2 board in one of these two slots. I own a z370 motherboard, and my intel processor only supports x16 PCIe bifurcation to x8/x4/x4. So, in my case, I can only use 3 M.2 SSDs with this board.

Would this work with new ryzen 3000 cpus and x570 boards?

I have one on Ryzen 5600 / X570 board and running RAID 1 on first two slots of Hyper card.

Can we install this card on asus z10pe-d16 ws lga2011-v3 workstation motherboard? if yes what will be the settings?

If your motherboard supports bifurcation, it should. This is working with my HP Z640 which uses lga2011-v3.
