Purchased for an 11 year old boy with the microscope - he was thrilled at the options to examine and we quickly went through them all. We have since taken our time and re-reviewed all of the slides which has given him inspiration to collect samples from our area for viewing. Great beginner set.

Durable slides, appear to be plastic as they have not shattered despite being dropped twice, very lightweight which is nice for a beginner. Good quality specimens. Labels sometimes are a little "translated" but that's not a big deal. Good value for the money and a lot of fun for the budding microscopist.

Hey my nephew enjoyed them, so that is good. Plus being plastic he has a much lower chance of breaking one and getting cut.

This was an incredible bargain to get such a large quantity of preserved slides. I bought this set for my son’s classroom and found the quality to vary from one slide to the next. Some of the plant slides were excellent and you could see individual cells. Other samples really did not reflect the morphology that I would expect. I enjoy microbiology, and I have viewed many of these specimen from a reputable company. These specimen are not of the same quality. I will say that I purchased a National Geographic kids microscope/slide set for my son and these slides seem to be of the same quality. I guess the question becomes do you want mediocre quality for a child that will likely have destructive accidents or do you want ideal specimen for learning about cellular morphology.

My kids love this game! They have played it a lot since receiving it as a gift. Their grandmother enjoyed playing it so much that she will be ordering one!

I am giving my granddaughter's Christmas next two week. I think she will love it and she had picked in her wish list.

Is great for little ones. They can fully use it themself as is not glass but plastic.There are some examples what might not be veri accurate as the cow hear is pink.But still very interesting product.

Se in qualche occasione avete regalato ai vostri piccoli un microscopio ed il germoglio della scienza e della curiosità ha attecchito, vi conviene continuare a tenerlo vivo. I microscopi per bambini, infatti, superato lo stupore iniziale rischiano di finire nel dimenticatoio per mancanza di nuovi stimoli. infatti osservati i vetrini compresi nel pacco bisognerebbe crearne di nuovi o comprarne altri. Questa confezione risponde a perfezione a questa esigenza e con ben 48 vetrini restituisce nuovi stimoli ed opportunità di scoperta. Ad onor del vero molti sono simili ed un pò ripetitivi (non si tratta cioè di 48 osservazioni ed esperienze diverse) ma i vetrini sono comunque tanti e bene preparati da garantire la voglia di osservarli e tenere accesa la fiamma della curiosità.
