I have only had this a day but so far I would say it is very nice. Fits nice and snug up against my 2017 MacBook Pro and appears to be good quality.I have only used one USP port and everything works. Will have to try out the other ports to make sure they function okay. Silver matches my silver MacBook perfectly which I really like. It comes with a very nice leather carrying case for storage and travel.I think it might be putting a drain on the battery when the computer is closed. My computer drained quite a bit over night and I am not sure but Isuspect it was from the device. I will check with customer service on that. If such is the case you may want to detach it if not using the device.

Reliability and support are important in tech products.I ordered this hub for use with my new 15" MacBook Pro as I embarked on a four month visit to the United Kingdom. USB inputs were a little tight first use or two, and the SD card reader was always a little finicky. But today, the SD card reader failed. My card from my camera is not being read. Fortunately I brought along a back-up -- but this was not what I expected. Reliability is job #1 for any accessory -- we expect it will match the reliability of the Apple computer. Disappointed here in my purchase. Note: the item was treated carefully, stored in its leather pouch when not in use, not mistreated in any way..

This does not fit if you have a laptop cover on your Mac. Also, the device is very sensitive so make sure you unplug it before you store it in your pack or else it will wiggle around and become defective. Mine lasted 3 months. Not worth the money to me. If you have a laptop cover, I suggest you get an adapter with a short cord so that it doesn’t need to be flush with your device.

This thing is a life saver! Don’t waste your money at the Apple store on multiple products! I bought this for myself and a year later one for my mom! Travels so easy and has every connection I need!

Great device. I didn't read the instructions and didn't realize only one USC was pass thru charging, meaning I thought I couldn't charge my iPhone but looked at the specs again and found that the last USB is the pass thru. It's running hot when I sync my phone so I'm going to reserve any further review for a few days.

It’s perfect the only thing is it sometimes doesn’t work when I try to plug in the charger. But for everything else it’s amazing!

Only one USB 3 port actually worked at the correct speed. Other was always USB 2.

Comes with a nice case and works great.

After a couple of months using it here is my opinion...Cool for throwing on your back pack and solve your connections (I'm a Mac user) along the day.heats up a little bit too much and you your Mac runs out of battery you have to disconnect it, plug the charger straight into you Mac till is on again, then unplug and attach this device back, which is kind of annoying.Good durability and light weight. I use it as my back up hub.

I bought this in hopes that I could charge my computer, use my external USB-C connected monitor AND be able to plug in a USB 3 hard drive. Unfortunately, my monitor will only connect through the "charging" port of the adapter, meaning only one of the USB C ports is useable. I don't know if mine is just faulty, or if It's really how it works, but for the price, I'm dissapointed.

This little gem is a lifesaver if you have a MacBook Pro 2017 - I couldn't function without it... the little leather case is a nice touch too :)

Expensive, not worth the $70. Doesn’t feel like good quality.

Right away wasn't working well with my mac. Couldn't transfer images.
