This was disappointing. It does not work as described. I set it all up as directed with the wifi and got both devices on my home network but it does not ever really connected in a manner that allowed me to use my phone while casting as it advertised. And when it does connect the audio is terrible (picture is good) but sounds like everything is under water and it only mirrors the screen, even when i chose the casting option. YouTube and hulu will never connect to the cast option.. it will say connecting for 10min before it gives up. My wifi signal is great and other smart TVs that have the build in cast option connect perfectly so its not a signal issue.When I use the actual mirror option vs the casting option.. the connection is instant usually and sound and picture are perfect except it constantly stops randomly and again this is not a wifi signal issue. It is just very inefficient

Small and simple Display Dongle. Can be used to screen clone or extend desktop. The Display Dongle itself works pretty well. There is probably a second of lag between my laptop and what shows up on TV; not a big deal. Occasionally my audio cuts in and out, but my laptop's network statistics lead me to believe it's an issue with my laptop's wireless/WiDi transceiver [and possibly temperature] and not the . The range is further than expected and I can be pretty much anywhere in my house and stream with minimal artifacts. I use this almost daily to wirelessly stream YouTube playlists through my audio receiver.As far as firmware updates, I've found the victony site to be unintuitive and I've often found myself navigating in circles multiple times before getting to the update I need.Be advised that some firewalls, especially McAfee, can prevent your computer's WiDi from establishing a connection with the remote WiDi Display Dongle (). I have not yet found a long term solution to permit WiDi in the firewall and therefore just disable the firewall before connecting to the 

 I love Super Mario RPG. It's my favorite SNES game from my childhood. I have an old Samsung Galaxy S6 that I use an emulator on to play Super Mario RPG. I wanted something that would be easy to set up, quick to use and allow me to see my game up my TV with as much convenience as possible. This little dongle was perfect for that. I can screen share from my S6 with a swipe and a tap and I'm ready to grab my bluetooth 8Bitdo controller and play some Mario RPG! I love it. There is a slight delay (maybe a quarter second) with inputs and what's seen on the screen, but I expected this as I've dealt with Miracast in the past. For me, the ease of connection and use exceeds the need for a faster response time.

I read the evaluation of this product and didn't intend to buy it at first, but my girlfriend insisted on buying it. She said that YOUTUBE played by mobile phone could be played on TV synchronously, and she liked to watch large screen display images.1. No image carton, as other purchasers said.2. Sound quality is good.3. The output speed is very fast. The screen played by TV is synchronized with the screen played by mobile phone.Without regret, I would recommend other friends to buy it. I like to cast from my phone to my tv. This dongle works, however it has lost connection a few times. I’ve only used it for a few days, so more usage and testing would help this review. I have iPhone 7 and I can mirror my phone to my new Phillips TV.

 This wifi dongle is cheap and at reasonable proce, As it shows in the introduction all Android system /IOS system samrtphone are supported. It is useful, very easy to connect and use.works really well through WiFi.Most of the TVs have HDMI connector. After connecting this, sometimes resolution is concerned because WiFi base provides quite consistent connection to phone. However, this provides well connection to connector from phone, and it doesn’t have any delayed display from phone. It's a good streaming devie, and is able to stream both picture and sound perfectly, and you can still enjoy phone games using your most reliable play style which you have been used to on your phone with big screen of TV.

After few searched , I decided buy it . perfect miracast dongle works very well.i use this dongle with my ipad. Not see any problem yet.The device was also easy to configure and install and plug and play and I managed to setup it up and ready to go in a matter of minutes. Overall one happy customers, does exactly what is supposed to and met my expectations and more.I will recommend it .

Before discovering the Chromecast I had been using my xbox one for YouTube, Hulu, Netflix, etc... The downfall to using the xbox for streaming services, is that you have to rely on the xbox network being up which has had some serious downtime in the past. Also occasionally the app on the xbox would get an update and not just not work.With the Chromecast all you need to worry about is your network and your connected device. That being said, not all phones are created equal, and some phones will struggle more than others.It's just made streaming more convenient. You can pause, fast forward, rewind, and even change the volume, all from your phone. People connected to your network can also control the Chromecast, with that it'd be nice to see a lock feature to keep others from disturbing your stream.
