So far it seems fine. These are being used for a fan that is being installed in a KRX. My husband has not installed it yet. The price was a good value.

I bought this device when adding a trolling motor to my kayak. Easy to wire / install, I used a Ryobi Drill Bit Box to enclose the controller. The only problem I had was that the 3-way rocker switch was hard wired and could not be installed in the front cover without cutting one pair of green and blue wires. Would be easier if the maker provided a male/female connector for those. It seems to work fine but I have not had it our on the lake yet. If it lasts...a great deal for $16.95

It was easy to wire but i spent several hours designing and building a foot controll to turn the control knob for my kids powerwheel. Worked amazing for a day or two but then it died. The knob is still varying resistance when i test it but the box is only pumping out full power all the time. Wouldnt be a big deal if i hadnt spent so much time on the foot control system just to have this happen. Was well under the 20A rating so pretty dissapointing.

I ordered two of these, one works fine the other does not reduce the motor speed to half speed. I used these on fans, and it would be nice if I could slow them both down.
